PT21 was a "changer" for me in that I had a super powerhouse team with a ton of high Diamond and Perfects however, things came to a head when my team became a "whale" in Silver and after getting promoted, would get regulated from Gold back down to Silver, the following week.....and this went on for weeks and weeks! I poured a ton of time and effort putting that team together and being stuck in that position led me to play Pack-Only for PT22. Since I know that at some point I am going to get stuck at a level, and never make Diamond or Perfect League, I am just going to take my sweet time climbing the levels while freeing up alot of my time to create and start playing out a Fictional World that I am working on, which is the first time in 3-4 years in doing so. Creating custom fictional leagues, with custom schedules, and with fictional players starting in 1920 is my "first love" with OOTP, and I've been doing it for years. ... |

Bronze Update
Annandale rides its light OL schedule to the top of the standings. The Atom Smashers really get their OL schedule started today with a dozen games.
Algoma remains in second despite dropping 3 of 4 to Boulder City yesterday. South Holland had a good May going 8-2 to move towards the middle of the pack. In PT play four teams lead their division. Silly Mad trials Annandale by 2.5 games in the NC West. The Brewers and Annandale have a three game set this morning. The Atom Smashers swept the first three in Annandale yesterday. |

Waffletown Grabs Lead in OL S262
The Syrups latched onto the top spot as Nowhere found Otsego Lake less hospitable than Port Ruppert and slipped to second .

I've had such bad luck with packs, decided to try and improve my Baltimore team using PPs and not-used Gold cards. I currently have a half dozen Golds at Auction, and I obtained Hack Wilson for DH and kept Roy Thomas in CF.
If anyone is interested, here's the Gold's that are up...

The Iron 172 AC East Division is a real slug match.
The top team is only 4 games above .500 and positions 1-3 are separated by only 2 games and positions 1-5 are separated by only 6.5 games. None of the teams appear to be able to get hot and get on a winning streak! ![]() |

Paxville and Cedar Rapids are battling with Paper St Soap Co right now for the lead in their division in G302. Paxville vs CR currently stands at 4-4 for the season.

Hey, IanIachimoe, I'm not seeing Soap Co's new logo in-game yet. Try hitting Upload Team Graphics under Trouble Shooting.
If you're gonna sweep the Kings 4-0, you might as well have that smiley grinning at me ![]()

Taking a pounding, but still pretty clear of relegation. I need to take some time and decide what I'm going to do with their PP, currently sitting at 587k, and work on the team. Still seem to be more focused on my tournament teams than the leagues. Chandler looks like they will be in a fight to avoid relegation back to gold. I need to spend some time on them as well, though their bank balance is a bit lower than Texarkana.

It's getting sort of embarrassing that I come here to post yet another Historical Perfect starting pitcher. I am having some crazy luck.

Tony seems dressed as Uncle Fester. Or is he getting a shave? By the way, has anybody else noticed how many left/right mistakes there are on the card illustrations this year? A lot of the artwork is very nice, but the QC seems a little lax.this year. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 05-12-2021 at 05:29 PM. |

after a seemingly endless streak of early tourney exits and/or semi final ousters, my bunch finally finished a tourney with a win (and 10 packs).... only able to nab a Diamond future legend from the mix, so no OL help... figure I'll sit on the FL for awhile and see if a mission gets released for them to up the value for now since the current squad seems to be playing well enough, Waffletown will watch the AH for any potential killer deals on useful cards, while they also work on some missions (edit: spoke too soon... just logged in to see I got swept by Lemp Ave in a 4 game set at home) Last edited by stl jason; 05-12-2021 at 06:06 PM. |

![]() Boy, you are having unbelievable pack luck. I am sure the guys would love to know how did you get these packs? From tournament wins, bought the packs, mission rewards, drops, etc? And how many packs are you opening to land all of those perfect cards? Thanks |

After a bit of a dry spell following the Pop Lloyd, we got a nice one tonight with Texarkana pulling CF Ned Hanlon.

Bronze
Annandale was a two out three run 8th inning home run by West Burlingtons Irish Meusel away from running the table yesterday. The Atom Smashers had to settle for a 12-1 day to ease into a comfortable lead. Algoma was one of Annandale's victims, getting swept at home drop to third for now. Sugar Hill and their lighter schedule slides into second.
In PT play. Sugar Hill slipped back after a posting a 10-16 record in June. Boulder City, Algoma and Annandale all hold comfortable division leads. Sugar Hill (AC) and Silly Mad (NC) are in the hunt for a wildcard. Currently Cleveland, Inland Empire and West Burlington are in the relegation zone. |

I will comment further. Back in OL 20, the Atom Smashers were rumored to have had a financial and research interest in the bungled large hadron collider (LHC) project in the U.S. When that failed, they were said to have entered into a relationship with CERN and the LHC that passes under Geneva. I ask you, is it possible that a few laps at super speed , with the occasional bump by an higgs boson particle have some quantum effect on the mysterious inner workings of pack contents? I'm no scientist, but I do recognize lightening when it keeps on striking the same spot. Just guessin'. ![]() Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 05-13-2021 at 06:01 AM. |

Nowhere Men At the Top in OL S262
They seem to be very serious about a presumed snub (honest mistake) in the forum and are spanking Port Ruppert, and riding that abuse to the top of the standings.
