The Classics needed just one home win against the Mundys to earn their first Our League crown. After twin, 4-3, losses it came down to the final game of the year. Port Ruppert pounded out a 12-3 lead, and then survived a frantic Sanguine comeback effort to win, 12-8, and turned George Kelly's homer into a title-winning legend. Harlem had its second Our League crown.


Almost lost in chatter of of the story above was the Palolo Puppies sizzling 7-and-2 stretch run that vaulted them into second, just .0004 behind Harlem.


The final standings:

just noticed Silver standings are missing Terra Incognita (41-37 for the season)

edit: also the Hatchets have moved on to the Silver LCS, so they will be shifting to Gold league next season. There will be no Our League relegations out of Silver.

and just a small housekeeping note for overall results/etc.... going back in the thread, I can't find a posting of the final w/l records for the Silver league in 2024 (last season); so the online/google spreadsheet is missing those numbers.... everything else should be updated with all regular season results / highlights for each tier victor....

the only tier change I have so far is Harlem moving from Silver to Gold.... anyone else moving up/down next season?



and in the 'sometimes good things happen if you just ignore em' category.... my other team (which has been just pack-only so far as I haven't come up with a theme for them) will be playing in their Bronze league championship in an hour.... not bad for an 82-80 team

so the Parakeets lost 3-2 in the NLDS in Diamond, so they will stay put --- nail biter of series, Parakeets only lost last game in the eighth inning. Hope somebody from gold will move up so we can have a true Diamond Our League Championship next season. Anybody know whether any of them are moving up?
