The BAL toppers and pulling Gehrig really shook up my lineup. I hope I didn't screw things up with the post-drop realignment.

OL Bronze 229

Aceldama held onto the lead, despite muddling through at 4-4 for the month, while Bruno clipped Terra Incognita for five-of-six, allowing the Oblates to make a race of it with the Butchers. Any of the top six teams, however, has a sufficient number of Our League games left to play to make a run at the crown plausible, though some paths will be difficult to traverse. No OL team is in danger of relegation.

Silver .258

Here's this morning's standings for S.258. I got the GB calculation correct within a half game.

With two days (months) left, Holy City can't walk away with it YET...

Baltimore (with no OL games) is struggling to not get relegated over in the NC East. The "curse" continues.

I'd love to add the BAL cards, but mine have disappeared...

Heh heh, turned out to be my fault, numpty!

I did sell a few of them in a fit of rage a week or two ago, but I'm not worried. I'll hopefully get them back once I get another big pull that I can sell. Was able to cobble together enough funds to re-buy the KB diamond so I could upgrade to the 100.

Mine was just a case of me being an idiot, unlocking cards when my collection was maxed at 10k, then having the BAL cards vanish until I quick sold some irons (after a bit of head scratching).

I should add that the Tinners have sucked since I introduced all the new talent

Bronze

Aceldama is still in front. Bruno has 3 left with Eden Prairie, if they can sweep it will force Aceldama to go 8-2 in their 10 remaining games to grab the crown. Brooklyn is still alive but on life support. They have 3 left vs. Aceldama- they need a sweep, Eden Prairie to lose and the Butchers to go 4-6 on the day.

Late Saturday report...and quite possibly it will be a very late Sunday report as well...

Long Beach closing in on clinching the title in OL I181. The Landsharks are making a playoff push, attempting to join the rest of the shiver in Bronze. Meanwhile, Fort Davis is struggling, but only one game out of playoff position, and Bordeaux is floundering and in a relegation spot.

Bronze OL Update

Aceldama still leads but Bruno turned up the heat. Bruno completed its sweep of Eden Prairie and is sitting in the clubhouse with a .654 winning percentage. Aceldama has six remaining 3 vs SaukCentre and 3 vs Daytona Beach. The Butchers need to win 4 of the six to hold on and win the title.

While not a title contender based on Bruno's sweep, Grovers Mill is making a nice run today (6-1) but with only 3 games remaining against the woeful Warriors (what a difference a week makes) they just don't have enough games to pass Bruno. The Invaders can jump into second if they sweep and the Butchers drop 4 of 6.

Bronze Final

Aceldama needed to go 8-2 and that is exactly what they did. Congrats to the Butchers.

In PT play three teams, Aceldama, Brooklyn and Eden Prairie are playoff bound.

No team has been relegated.

Diamond League

No crown this week, but a moral victory for Port Ruppert, having played 10 and finished with a winning record.

In PT, Aomori finished with a great record again, and must be hopeful of another run at the finals. Mount Hawke sputtered into the wildcard, and I can only hope that their pitchers will wake up for the knockout phase.

Good luck again, Slinky!

Long Beach, champs of OL I181, second-best team in the league and only OL representative in the playoffs.

Bordeaux, worst team in the league and headed to Stone.

Gold league:

North Bay made a strong push down the stretch (including a 4 game sweep of the hapless Syrups to not only knock them out of the playoffs but grab that spot for themselves); but it wasn't enough as New York celebrates the OL crown.

In the post season, North Bay is the lone OL representative in the AC; while the NC is all-OL except for one team

At the other end, Bushwood will head back to Silver next season

Final Silver .258

Shinbone pulled out a very close OL race by 1/2 game, finishing with a 42-35 record after Holy City had led the OL standings for most of the week.
Holy City and Waxhall, however, are the only two OL teams to make the PT playoffs. Baltimore will be relegated to Bronze.
