I'm not sure what this means, but it has to be some kind of sign... |

In the ATHL we've got a player named Man Kummer. Naturally since I control the San Francisco franchise he's been a tempting acquisition, but since he's a 40HR guy no luck yet...

Not really a funny one, but I just started a fictional 36 team league and I have a guy by the name of Leon Leon in the league. What are the chances of that?

So I meant to put one here earlier and then forgot to get around to it.
Just had one of my all-time favorites retire: Manuel "Manny (yes I gave him the nickname)" Dinger He was a great SS for my club and a lifetime .294 batter over 13 ML seasons. How many dingers did Manny Dinger total in his career? 42. Since OOTP2 I've been playing and I've never seen a position player hit so few for his career. I use 1-10 ratings but I'll wager poor Manny was actually a 0. Good clutch hitter, though.

And a new treat - a third baseman on the Charlotte team (hadn't really noticed him before)
Robert "Bob" Boring Hopefully he'll be a career .260 hitter averaging 60 RBI and 15 HRs playing in most (but not all) of their games and never become a free-agent, not be traded. Funny how this thread had made me notice the players' names again.

Courtesy of the great util being made in the Anderson Utilities thread, I've discovered a gem of a name. Definitely the funniest I've found in my league.

I discovered last night that I have a Bruce Dickinson in my league. That's cool, even though he's not a great player.

Erasmo Albino, a 27 year old 2.5 star 1B/OF. I tried but failed to pick him up off waivers.

Theres a Tim Bunting in my league. He has one of the best carrer averages, but is 1 for sac and only 2 for bunt hitting. I was very disapointed in him.
