You rate him that high? No way. JBlaze & FitDog >> Gforce

Good summary.

This is like a soap opera, but on a text-based baseball sim message board. It disturbs and excites me. This whole GeForce thing fascinates me because I remember when he was coming out with his initial set with Rolen for OOTP4, I politley asked him if he wanted any help and suggested a couple things he could do to make his set better, and he totally slammed me like I was some sort of crazy lunatic. Since then, i've always disliked GeForce, and I've never even seen a flame or know how to war with one. I'm not a big "OT" guy, so I always wondered what happened to him.

People finally saw him for what he was, and he was banned, as he should have been long before.

You have been out of the loop! It was like Payton Place or Falcon Crest around here for awhile.

Could anyone provide more details on what exactly went down with GeForce and that whole roster thing? I was there for the excruciatingly long wait for his roster set and always thought of him as a bit of a prick, but I never knew he was banned or anything like that.

Just thought I'd give an update (and get this thread back to the roster talk!)

The set is coming along smoothly. We recently just corrected an error in our rating process (not so much an error, but a realization that would give us more accurate ratings...the set would have been perfectly fine without making the change, but it's definitely better for it, although delayed even more), and had to rerate every single batter in the set. We're in the process now of reentering the new ratings for batters. We're still experimenting with how we are going to go about rating the pitchers, though. The changeover to the new ratings system is one we still don't have a whole lot of familiarity with.

HAHA.

I take it you are not the brains behind the whole roster set?
