Coney Island is showing up as Hudson, the generic name they were given when I entered.I haven't gotten around to editing the team name yet. It will be changed to the Coney Island Warriors shortly.

Little late to the party, but the Jackson Wood Ducks are back for OL Season 4. Just fired up the squad and aim to be compliant by the end of entry pool.

Not a bad start for Waffletown... downside, all the diamond cards from my diamond packs are Live 2021, so they'll get to play for the entry league week before hitting the bench or hitting the market.... nice thing about the extra packs is I basically have enough historical cards (minus one more starting pitcher) to field the full team without any extra AH work (not a team that's going to set the league on fire, but it's a start)

From a OL prospective, this has to be the worst Entry Pool roster I've had in four years of PT play.
I don't have one single Historical card that I can use, that is Gold or higher. The sad part is, I had 3 extra packs at opening this year with two being Diamond. Based on what Stl Jason stated, he too, had lousy Diamond pack luck! I am glad to hear that I'm not being singled out for getting very bad returns on my packs however, it just makes "the mountain" that much more taller to climb!

Waffletown lineup (yellow entries are historic replacements for current live starters).... lineup subject to change as better historic replacements are acquired during the week, of course

Actually, they are compliant. I had them marked OL Sunday night, but that and my logo disappeared sometime today. Added them back in. HRB |

As others noted it's Madmarcus. Mad Maracas is cool but sadly it is not to be.
While the Mad Brewers are tearing up the Rookie league I have low expectations. I had one historical gold card and my diamond draw was nothing special. Dan McGann and Hector Lopez have joined Jon Gray and a motley lineup of silver position players and iron pitchers it an attempt to win at least something. Updated the online sheet with the current leagues and resorted based off league. Got a nice showing in Rookie .142, and 4 teams together in Stone .156; so a pretty solid start.
I included Daytona Beach in the list (even though they are waiting a week to officially join). Task for everyone this week (aside from getting your lineups OL compliant if they aren't yet) is to make sure you update your settings to "use friends list" (best to update it, submit the team, exit, log out/back in and check it again to make sure it sticks), and then check off the rest of the OL teams as friends... easiest way I've found to pull most of them up is to search for: -OL|- OL| -OL| - OL that way, you are picking up different variations of the tag, since there's no rhyme or reason to how everyone adds the tag... some use nickname-OL (with no spaces), some use nickname- OL (with no space before the dash but a space after), some use nickname -OL (with a space before the dash but no space after), some use nickname - OL (with a space before and after the dash.... and some don't use a dash at all (those won't show up on the above search string, but can be found easy enough searching for the team name if that's the case... |

Thank you, HRBaker for the logos. They look great. They'll look even better with a crown. Soon, one hopes.

Stone 156
Slow start to PT22, with four teams in OL ST156. Gettysburg and Ostego begin a new rivalry in the NC West, while South Holland (via Vlora and Stephensville) and Hartford are in the AC.

Rookie 142
The bulk of OL early arrivers found their way to OL R142, where there appears to be good early competition. The Barons and Brewers have jumped to an early perfect lead. Should be fun.

Thanks to TJ's show last night I acquired 4 drop packs.
The first one turned into a life saver with my team pulling a 90 SP George Mullin. Needless to say George replaced a 54 rated SP pitcher that the AI had assigned in the #1 slot who was sporting a 20+ ERA. Even though George currently has a 7+ ERA, my team has won 8 straight since adding him! Currently the Keystone Kops are 17-10! ![]() Update------We just lost!

Baltimore is (so far) a surprise. It did have the best initial pack pull, but it was nothing to write home about. As far as the other two teams? Ugh. Gettysburg is playing like Pickett's Charge... being promoted into Stone was a mistake.
Changes made so far... Cleveland Grays -3B Grady Hatton (78) -1B Tino Martinez (82) Gettysburg Bullets -C Bob Brenly (86) Baltimore Barons -RP Tom Wilhelmsen (79) -SP Dean Stone (84) -SP Dolly Gray (81) Last edited by HRBaker; 03-30-2021 at 07:55 PM. |

Neither of my -OL teams got much historical from the initial pulls. For the first weekend, I put my PP into buying packs to get some dross for the Live missions and to avoid the crazy AH the first weekend. After the first weekend, I have been putting the PP into completing the xxx-15 missions for the gold packs, which have also delivered only Live golds so far, so I have not pumped much into actually upgrading my lineup, as yet.
I have had pretty good luck with tourneys, particularly the PDs, so hope to have the -15 missions completed soon, then I will have to decide on whether to target specific upgrades or shoot for the SE cards through the completed Live missions. Probably a bit of both.

Off topic tip... for any T-Mobile customers... you can nab a free subscription to mlb.tv for the season starting today.... just do a search for “T-Mobile mlb tv 2021”.
Checked in on my v21 Syrups to find 20 packs waiting for me (won the Daily Iron)... wish those would be on the v22 team but what can ya do.... unfortunately it was 20 packs of bronze/iron with a single live diamond... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the tip..... I wish Verizon had such a offer. I am starting out for the first time ever by doing Historical Packs-Only and Drop Packs-Only. As of an hour ago, I only need 15 more players for my team to be OL compliant! ![]() I keep reminding myself that Rome wasn't built in one day!

A couple of last year's OL members
Had a few tourney packs to open, so I logged in to find that the Death Valley Devils and Norwood Diamonders were in with the Atom Smashers and Mundys.
The ten packs got me nothing of great value, with three live golds and no historical above bronze. I did get four more starters, so will have a full rotation at least. Cowboy Jones, an iron 58, is still the staff ace, though. |
