Paragon City Heroes 86-76 finished 5 games back of the WC spot but a real rollercoaster season in which i probably tinkered too much. We couldn't find a reliable closer, everyone in the pen had a go and blew it, K Rod had the longest stint 26 saves with 8 blown saves didn't cut it though. Overall pleased with how the season went, but we can definitely improve. i'm going to try not to tinker so much with the lineup next season.

San Angeles 70s 88-74 4 behind the WC spot, worse record than last season but there were a lot of very good teams considering its silver, the Saint Paul Fighting Saints won 130 games in silver for the 2nd straight year, yet failed to get promoted with a high diamond quality team that has a rotation topped by 100 Satchel. We for the most part lacked power in the lineup, so i added Willie Wilson at CF, 40 power is fine right? well he hit for a natural cycle, .336 with 12 SB in a month of play, next season should be a fun ride. Nolan Ryan was 2nd to Paige with 10.5 K/9 and led the league with 110BB

Lowdown Lugnuts 60-102, and that was 7 above pythag. We sucked in every aspect. a big rebuilding project in silver next year as we secured a relegation spot

OK Boomers 122-40 earned over 7k PP in achievements (big chunk for a 4k inning from Nathan) Finished off the NL to pick up Maddux, just one division left in AL, Bagwell cost less than 7k to do and sold for 20k (i bought the one I'm using for 15k last week) so some nice profit, sold most of the guys i've done as my team should be good enough for Iron (after we get swept by the WC), Ichiro is on the market so I should easily be able to get the AL East done, though i will probably sell Yaz and Berra, I do find live collection heavy teams a bit dull (even though i'm using one, but that's simply to generate PP)

Two seasons of Diamond and the Auckland Athletics look like they'll be relegated back down to Gold. A 63-99 record is the fourth worst in the league. We'll be back, and hopefully better equipped next time round.

The Secret Harbour Pirates (111-51) ended up finishing first in the National Conference at G306 and will face the WC winner between the Mucktown Slugs (who finished second in our division) and the Guernsey Anglers. The world famous Florida Fire Frogs and the Osgoode Senators will face off in the other division series, a battle of two very good teams. We are on the "correct" side of the bracket with regards to scheduling, as our series starts in four days, giving us plenty of time to rest and set up our bracket.

The Arequipa Alpacas (75-87) did not qualify in the "anyone can win it" division. Congrats to the New Rochelle Thunder who managed to get themselves up to a .500 record (81-81), ensuring there would not be a sub-.500 team in the playoffs in B219.

The Bibra Lake Quendas (83-79) missed out on a WC playoff by one game, as 84-78 qualified you for a Game 163 in I175. Still, the Quendas did well in their first season in Iron, and look forward to a successful 2027. It's now off to the Auction House to find some reinforcements.

The Lynn Live Oaks (95-67) will host their division mates the Arizona Catci in the ST160 wild card game. In a stunning turn of events, Jose Ramirez managed to go the month of September without hitting a single home run to finish on 19 for the season and miss out on a 20/40 season. Ian Kinsler did get his four SBs to reach the 20/20 milestone, and Jeff Bagwell of all people swiped 34 bags to go with his 47 home runs for a 40/30 season (and 400 PP). Bagwell was also the ST160 home run and RBI champ.

In Silver 264, the Manatees went 24-6 over September and October to finish 101-61 and win the AC West by 3 games over the Mizzou YakAnglers. They'll face the winner of the wild card game which will feature Mizzo hosting Pharr Power. The end of the season needed a 1 game playoff to decide the East Division winner, with the loser of that game then facing off in a 1 game playoff for the 2nd wild card spot.

In Rookie 173, the Iron Manatees limped in with a 15-15 record over September and October, but were able to hang onto the AC West Division lead. They'll host Twitch.TV Mills in the divisional round.

In Rookie 149, The Bapho Mets went 20-10 (winning .666 of their games, as was foretold in the prophecies) and won the AC East by 2 games over the Glendale Ghosts. They'll travel to the Seoul Bears to open the divisional round.

Carta Marina have had a good run up to Diamond, but it looks like the real work starts now

After reaching 80-67 and a half-game out of the Wild Card, the Huntley Red Raiders stepped on all the rakes, finishing on a 4-11 swoon and an 84-78 final record, 7 games out of the playoffs.

This unfortunately timed stumble, reminiscent of the original PT 19 Red Raiders (ah, weird nostalgia), does not diminish the fact that Huntley bounced back from its 61-101 debut in Diamond with a 23-game improvement in Diamond Year 2. (And I won't even mention that 84 wins would have qualified for the playoffs in the D360 NC, lest I get sad.)

Greg Maddux (8-13, 4.12 ERA, 3.56 FIP, 105 ERA+, 5.3 WAR) and Steve Carlton (19-7, 3.73 ERA, 3.57 FIP, 116 ERA+, 5.0 WAR) were excellent co-aces for the Red Raiders; unfortunately, the other 3 rotation mates ended up with ERAs north of 5.00 (Ted Lyons, 5.34; Randy Johnson, 5.38; Bob Gibson, 5.42). In the bullpen, Eddie Plank was the standout (4-3, 1 SV, 2.18 ERA, 3.51 FIP, 47 G, 70.1 IP, 1.12 WHIP, 199 ERA+, 0.9 WAR), while closer Joe Nathan somehow parlayed a 3.99 FIP into a 5.02 ERA, saving 30 but blowing 6.

Offensively, the stars were Ichiro Suzuki and Carl Yastrzemski, who, like the team as a whole, bounced back from disappointing debut Diamond seasons (2025 Ichiro: .269/.291/.340, 72 OPS+, 2.7 WAR; 2025 Yaz: .241/.323/.448, 108 OPS+, 2.0 WAR) with much improved (even league-leading!) sophomore campaigns (2026 Ichiro: .326/.366/.429, 213 H, 117 OPS+, 5.5 WAR; 2026 Yaz: .293/.370/.558, 37 HR, 149 OPS+, 5.4 WAR). Jeff Bagwell (131 OPS+, 3.8 WAR), Duke Snider (131 OPS+, 3.6 WAR), Frank Thomas (122 OPS+, 2.6 WAR), Robinson Cano (108 OPS+, 2.5 WAR), and Dave Winfield (128 OPS+, 1.4 WAR) also brought the lumber.

The Marathoners ended up 79-83 in their first dive into Diamond. Starting out 8-14 in April, followed by a 12-16 in May, and just when we climbed back within a few games of playoff contention, an 11-18 August buried us.

Bagwell hit .241 with 25 hrs, cruising to an incredible 0.5 WAR. At the halfway point I think he was at .220 with 5hrs, so he kicked it up towards the end.

Maddux went 13-10 with a 3.52 era, and Earnshaw went 13-6 with a 3.58 era. Everyone else was horrible, especially Carlton who was relegated to the pen after starting 0-7 with a 7.76 ERA.

Lindy McDaniel gave up 32 runs, 17 of them to Durham Los Toros (125-37). He had 34 saves and a 4.91 ERA.

The YakAnglers (98-64) led their division for most of the season, being closely chased by the Mine Hill Manatees (101-61) who took the lead in the final two weeks. The YakAnglers lost 5 of 6 from Sept. 24-29 to squander any chance of catching the Manatees.

Forgetting to manage my rotation, Rube Marquard pitched a shutout on the seasons final day, a meaningless win but created havoc with who to start in the Wild Card game. The YakAnglers decided to start 93 Ray Collins with his 1-4 record and 6.91 ERA, over ERA champ Spud Chandler. The thought was to limit the LH lineup of our WC opponents, Pharr Power.

Pharr Power started SE Maddux, who was brilliant going 8 innings and giving up 1 run. Late season addition Collins, who had been a major disappointment up to this point. matched the brilliance of Maddux and one-upped him allowing no runs in 8 innings, and Aroldis Chapman slammed the door in the 9th to propel the YakAnglers to a 1-0 WC victory.

The Yakanglers will face the Mine Hill Manatees in the DS.

Expos fighting hard to win the DS in the ultimate and final game of the serie, Fassero, who win the first game of the serie, is on the mound.

Tiger King after losing the first two game of the DS, win 2 at home to tied the serie...now the final game on the road with Mussina on the mound.

It took 5 games, but the Manatees were able to fend off the YakAnglers in the ACDS.

The Iron Manatees and BaphoMets each took their respective division series in 4 games.

Only one of my teams in PT21 made the playoffs following the Sun Kings' epic post-all-star collapse. Black Knights made it as the 2 seed then lost in 4 games in the divisional.

In PT20 the White Tigers made it as the 3 seed and lost in 5 games in the divisional after holding 1-0 and 2-1 leads. Golden Kings are still in it, getting through the divisional after nearly blowing a 2-0 lead.

Tiger advance and take a 2-0 leads in the subleague series but Expos lost 8-9 in the 9th, blown save by Woodie Fryman end the season.

Ok Boomers advance to R2 after a scare, 2-0 up to tied at 2, Maddux and Yaz sorted out game 5

Tied at 1 in R2, we seem to be getting kept to 1 run by bad pitchers a lot in the playoffs

Over in the AC the WC team knocked out a 110 game winner and are 2-0 up in R2

How sweep it is!

The Battle Corgis (111-51) sweep the Richmond Rhinos (107-55) to advance to the Iron 187 Series. Although the series ended 4-0, all the games were close as the combined score was 15-10.

It was quite a turn around this season after a terrible start found the Corgis several games below .500. As any good PT player would do, I did nothing. It was exactly the motivation needed as the team turned around and won the division by 21 games and the best record in the league.

Tiger King eliminated in 7 games, hardly disputed series vs Trojans, good team, hard to beat 99 Roberto Clemente (.521, 6hr 17 Rbi).

Somehow I got mixed up and the PT20 White Tigers actually advanced. We're up 2-1 in the sub-league series against the top wild card who was from our division, who took out the 1 seed when we took out the 2 seed.

The Bapho Mets fell in 7 games in the sub-league series to a team that finished 26 games ahead of them in the league standings, dropping game 7 in 10 innings after taking a lead in the top of the 10th. Congratulations and good luck in the finals of Rookie 149 to the Lincoln Park Loons.

In Rookie 173, it took all 7 games of the SLS for the Iron Manatees to make it past the Hanwha Eagles, with a 5-1 decision in game 7 in a series where the road team won every game. They face the Brampton NightHawks in the finals. Brampton (85-77) pulled off a stunning upset of the 110-52 Brisco County Bounty Hunters, taking game 7 on the road in their SLS 6-1.
Game 1 of that final has gone to the Metallic Mermen of Manatee Cove, 8-0 sith Stephen Strausburg a complete game, 5 hit shutout.

In the Silver 264 AC Series, the Manatees also took all 7 games to put the Cowardly Lions away. They now face the vaunted 143-19 Inland Empire Wranglers in the finals. The Wranglers beat the Manatees 4-2 in the regular season.
Game 1 went 10 innings, with Yaz belting a solo home run in the top half staking the Manatees to a 5-4 win.

Gold 305. Very competitive league. No Mega whales, just good teams.

Seawolves at least made the playoffs, but blew the one game playoff. Warriors were very deserving to represent the NC in the World Series.
