That would be really nice and would allow individual commissioners the ability to institute house rules like "a division champ can't play the wild card in the first round if they're from the same division" or "last year's winner gets in automatically". I'm already thinking about a system where I allow the winner of an A-level division to make the playoffs no matter what but the B-level winner only gets in if that team's got a better record than 4 teams in the A-level division.

The fixed or open playoff draw was one of the first playoff aspects put into the proposal I made. I did it mostly to allow recreating NBA-style playoffs or NHL-style playoffs, but it comes in handy in other areas, such as recreating the International League's playoff format.

Note that I don't know for sure Markus coded it in. I would hope so since it wouldn't seem to be a difficult item.

In my upcoming Aztec league, the winner in each playoff round sacrifices the loser.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Sounds like an Unreal Tournament league.
