It's about 250 characters. Short is better, because they don't stay on the screen long.

Damn! You mean I can't put the Rascoe Barahona post on there?

I've only played with the default league but so far I'm impressed. FaceGen is awesome--adds a lot to the game and I'm so glad strategic one pitch mode is back. I also like the interface.

I haven't as yet decided whether to start a whole new league and/or import my 2006 league. Hopefully those areas won't have any problems either.

Very happy new customer here. Glad I took the leap of faith based on iffy impression of the 2006 demo; the devs should give a tip of the cap to their community who "sold" me as it were. I like the speed and I love the step by step league gen; I'm an inveterate restarter so I'll be seeing a lot of that (in RPGs I always have 20 low level characters from a bunch of race/class combos rather than one level uber).

To the graphics card issue guy earlier who said he didn't have time to troll message boards 24/7: trolling is exactly what your post was. "Trawling" is the act of casting around semi-aimlessly looking for something, in this case, information on a message board. Personal pet peeve, couldn't let it go.

I imported my solo Metro Leagues from version 2006 to 2007 with no problems. Actually, I was in the middle of September of my season when I imported and still had no major issues. Others have reported the same. The import seems to work quite smoothly.

Great job Markus and company!
Fiddled ever-so-slightly with it and took a brief look around. Amazing. All I can say as a true testament to the apparent quality of this production is that it just may be enough immersion - barring anything remarkable - that you won't be hearing or seeing much from me for a long while (hold the applause). Truly looks to be the 'magnificent obsession'.

*now, on to Battists' Tome of Wonder*

Begs the question...did the concussion come from the act of hitting his head on the wheel?

So far I've been quite pleased.

Still miss having options to have the game go to games where no-hitters are in progress or milestones might be reached.

My first impression is that the sim speed is aWesome. I had moved away from simming a lot with 2006 because it was just so laboriously slow. I got into game by game managing, which is fun, but I missed week to week simming and accumulating stats to pore over. Now, with the great sim speed I can do both satisfactorially.

The sim speed is incredible.

I hope they fix the problem with text entry for recaps though. I don't know why that's so slow.

You can paste into that? Excellent. I'll make use of that.
