OL Silver 271

Although Waxhaw sits firmly in the driver's seat, with September being perhaps the busiest month for OL this season, only Columbia has no path to the crown. While Shinbone has only three left, every other team has at least six, so the standings are ripe for rises and falls.

OL Bronze 204

It's down to a match race between Holy City and Daytona Beach with the Hurricanes holding a four game lead. Holy City has nine to play, and the Tortugas seven, so there is ample opportunity for Daytona Beach to accomplish its formidable task. Savanna has slumped recently and fallen into relegation danger.

Eden Prairie captures the OL I152 title. The Landsharks enter the playoffs in the NC, while their fellow Landsharks will join Fort Davis on the AC side.

Your early final updates are appreciated (when it's convenient for you, of course)

Diamond League

I expected a tight battle this week, but Mount Hawke clearly got the rub of the green. Brooks Robinson had the team on his shoulders!

Aomori and the Tinners each have a tough route through the playoffs via the wildcard.

North Bay Blizzard just got dragged into the relegation zone, but they were probably affected by the global heatwave...

Good luck to the Bakemonotachi, see you in the LCS!

OL Silver 271

Waxhaw cruised to the OL crown, as only Aceldama, who were 7-3, made any kind of charge. In PT play, the Doug Outs grabbed the last wild card spot and will be the only OL representative. No team was relegated.

OL Bronze 204

The Daytona Beach Tortugas were as rapid as rabbits down the stretch, blazing through seven straight to close out their OL season and capture the Bronze crown. Holy City started out the final month like a category 5 storm, but the Hurricanes couldn't sustain their pace and dropped five-of-nine to come up short. Savannah, whose three-game sweep of Holy City spelled doom for the Hurricanes, finished the PT season strong, but could not escape relegation, and will head to iron in 2032.

Gold league:

Bushwood split the final series with Waffletown, so no perfection was to be had, but their 8-2 season was still more than enough to claim the OL crown.

Overall, Claptown, Greenland, New York and Bushwood will head to the post season.

Baltimore will head back to Silver next season

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs. I might be able to stay up tonight as I haven't got work tomorrow.

Caddies Claim OL Crown!

After flirting with perfection, Judge Smales' squad was able to hang on and capture their first OL title.

The party went all day and all night at Bushwood Country Club. Images courtesy of TMZ:

Landsharks and Waves wash out in the playoffs. All five teams will return to Iron next season.

Silver Ferns Secure Series Success

New Zealand ensured that OL would not be without a modicum of PT glory by winning their Rookie league 127 World Series. They will advance to Stone and, hopefully, join Card Era and Austin. Congratulations!
