Thanks for all your effort in creating these great Facegens!
It looks like the Complete Facegen Universe pack hasn't been updated in quite a while. Is there a way to download your recent Facegens and those others have recently created? Will a complete and current Facegen pack be upload to the Steam Workshop? |

To get mine, just hit the link in my signature block and save atop any same named files in the fg_files folder. I don't have AESP's or anyone else's facegens in there though. Oh, and public service announcement -esp. if you have a PC - go to File>Settings, facegen tab and at the bottom, second-to-last, set quality of facegens to high. It makes a difference to my eyes.

With no fanfare, as I'm a bit spent this week, here's one.

Sorry to post this here, but does anyone know how to get the player's facegen BELOW the arrows/bookmarks/home instead of right up in it? Is there a setting I can toggle? For example, in the pic I've posted, the bookmark star is in front of Adley's ballcap. Kind of annoying.

When you download either of the packs, you'll get a folder and subfolders. Mine has the MLB'ers and the non-MLB'ers separate but the CUF pack is just everyone. Drill down and you'll get to a file(s) that has LOTS of files that are XXXXXXXX.fg. These .fg files go into the "fg_files" folder in the game. Don't have any subfolders in the "fg_files" folder - just dump all the .fg files in there and copy over any that require it. If you don't know where that folder is in OOTP, go to the Start Screen and at the bottom, hit "Settings" and a pop-up will appear. Go to the far-right tab called "TroubleShooting". Then select the button for: "Open folder containing customizable data". Whatever mod you are looking to add, this is the way to find the appropriate folder - including "fg_files". It's late here and I got work in the morning, so I'll work on updating the Steam version tomorrow. I'm sure people are anxious to get better pics of the recent MLB debut players and the latest improvements, but a day won't hurt anyone.

Thanks for asking. I'm doing a bunch of players in that time frame as we speak, so I will add them to my list and get them up in the next couple days as I got a longish weekend to work with.

Ronnie Belliard
Fernando Vina's injury in 1999 opened the door for Ronnie Belliard to play every day in the majors, and he responded by hitting .295/.379/.429 over 124 games. Somehow, he didn't receive a single vote for NL Rookie of the Year.
Emboldened by Belliard's success, the Brewers traded Vina to the Cardinals and installed their young star at second base for the long term. Belliard was pretty good again in 2000 and 2001 but dropped off dramatically in 2002, hitting .211/.257/.287 over 104 games. The Brewers non-tendered him, and I'm not sure anyone would have been surprised if his big-league career had been over. Instead, Belliard went on to play eight more seasons in the majors as a member of five teams, most recently the 2010 Dodgers. He was an AL All Star in 2004 and finished his career with 1377 hits over 1484 games played. - brewcrewball.com Redid upon request.

Sean Berry
Montreal was at home, where it hadn’t lost in almost a month. Sean Berry felt at home, though he was playing for the Houston Astros.
In his first game at Olympic Stadium since being traded to Houston in the off-season, Berry homered and drove in four runs Thursday night, leading an 18-hit Houston attack in an 11-4 victory that snapped the Expos’ home winning streak at 10 games. “It’s kind of weird playing here,” said Berry, who spent three seasons with the Expos. “I had a lot of fun here and I consider some of my best friends in baseball on the other team. “It’s fun to win at all costs. But it’s kind of weird beating your close friends.” Berry hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning and had RBI singles in the first and eighth to help stop Montreal’s overall winning streak at five. - LA Times May 10,1996 Redone upon request. Didn't overcomplicate it.

Michael Bourn
Former All-Star outfielder Michael Bourn is stepping up for his community in Houston amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since retiring from baseball in 2017, Bourn has ventured into real estate and owns three apartment complexes in the Houston area. The 37-year-old revealed this week that he waived all April rent payments for his tenants out of concern for their well-being. "I think it's the best thing to do to help those out that are in need," Bourn told Mark Berman of FOX 26 Houston on Thursday. "Waiving rent for those people at this time is helpful in their lives," he added. "Some people are getting laid off work, some people need that (money) for groceries." Bourn, who is the landlord for about 60 tenants across all of his buildings, expects to waive their rent again in May. "I think that the people that can help need to help," Bourn said. Bourn played his college baseball at the University of Houston and later spent parts of four seasons with the Astros from 2008 to 2011. Over his 11-year major-league career with five teams, he was a two-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glove winner, and won three straight National League stolen base titles. He earned over $62 million during his big-league career, according to Baseball-Reference. - thescore.com Redone.

Clint Barmes
Clint Barmes spent eight years of his 13-year MLB career manning second base for the Rockies. Barmes debuted in 2003 but didn’t become a regular for the Rockies until the 2005 season. He started that year strong at the plate, batting .329 and hitting 8 home runs through the first 54 games. But Barmes’ full rookie season would be derailed after his injury. The cause: deer meat. Todd Helton gifted his teammate with a slab of deer meat and while transporting the package, the second baseman fell and broke his collarbone. The injury would sideline Barmes from June 5th through September 2nd. The difference in his performance was also noticeable, batting .318 in 84 games before, and only .244 in 579 games after the incident with the Rockies. To help the collar bone heal, doctors needed to place a titanium plate and nine screws in his shoulder. Barmes continued playing for the Rockies for five more season before being traded to the Astros prior to the 2011 season. - purplerow.com

Michael Barrett
Hard to believe, but it's been [17] years since the fist of Michael Barrett famously hit the face of A.J. Pierzynski, creating one of the most legendary moments in the Windy City Series between the White Sox and Cubs. The punch lasted only one second, but speaking with the man who was on the receiving end of that punch, Pierzynski knows he'll be hearing about it for the rest of his life.
First to the play that started it all. It occurred on May 20, 2006. While scoring a run on a sacrifice fly on a ball hit to shallow left field, Pierzynski knocked over Barrett at home plate. The White Sox catcher then moved towards the Cubs backstop to retrieve his helmet. If it was anybody else, nothing would have happened. This story you're reading would never have been written. But this was Pierzynski, one of the most hated players in baseball, the notorious monkey in the middle of everything. This Sox was about to get socked. - nbcsportschicago.com Barrett only played 7 games with the Jays but it had the best picture to work with. "I went up to get my helmet. He grabbed me and said, 'I didn't have the ball (bleep)," recalled Pierzynski. Barrett threw a right hook that hit Pierzynski square in the left cheek, producing an image that has been permanently burned into the minds of Cubs and White Sox fans. Redone. Just noticed I missed Bateman in the request. I'll do him tomorrow on the holiday. Happy 4th!
