Why not buy them now? You'd probably just have to assume the debt. They have a string of good results and look a good investment for the future. You might even earn an OBE if you bring them to the Football League.

GK David James - Or as he is known Calamity James, England used to have the best goalkeepers in the world, were did it go wrong ?
LB Ashley Cole - Scoring both on and off the field but injured, next up W Bridge - Doesn't want to go and don't blame him, possible 4 weeks with John Terry so 100% certain somebody would chin somebody, next up L Baines or S Warnock - Both decent but world beaters ? Nah. CB John Terry - Being England Captain means something, obviously not to JT. CB Rio Ferdinand - Got the jitters in the wrong year, Calamity Ferdinand anyone ? RB Glen Johnson - Injured but our best, although better going forward than going back. LM We don't really have one, I'm sure Capello says last one on the bus plays left wing. CM Steven Gerrard - Sorry but he maybe top class for Liverpool but plays about 50% for England, maybe he should put a Liverpool top on under his England one. CM Frank Lampard - Read Gerrard RM About a dozen lining up for this spot and none are even close to world class. ST Emile Heskey - Run his socks off just like Rooney, pity we don't have a few others who do the same. ST Wayne Rooney - Playing out of his skin, best England player by a country mile and one of the top players in the world. Players who could make the first 11. Defoe - Couldn't score a penalty to save his life so up crap creak before we even start. Crouch - World beater as long as we play Bolivia in the QF's, North Korea in the SF's and New Zealand in the Final. Others - Wouldn't even get in the Man Utd team but were hopefull of them beating the worlds best. Personally I think they do have a decent chance only for the reason there isn't a top class international team around. Italy will dive around and cheat like they usually do, Germany will bore the death out of everyone as per usual. Holland will go in as one of the favourites then self implode by fighting each other as usual, Argentina will start every game with 11 men and finish every game with less than 11 men. Most of the Brazlian team wouldn't even be good enough to lace up the boots of Brazilian players of the past, France too old and shouldn't even be there. Portugal struggled to get there, Spain have they finally thrown of the monkey but being European and world champions at the same time is a long shot, dark horses hmmm USA don't have much to beat in their group then becomes one off games after that, could surprise somebody. Most open World Cup in a long time. |

Hypothetically, if Wayne Bridge had given John Terry an uppercut during the "let's all lineup and shake hands", could he be red-carded before the game had even started?

I'm 99.9% certain the answer is yes as you can get a red card after the final whistle as blown, can't remember who but someone in the lower leagues last week got a red card in the tunnel for throwing a punch and that was after the final whistle.

Quoted for truth, another thing to add on to this is the fact of the Chelsea fans actually booing Wayne Bridge. I found this to be disgusting to be honest, things like this sometimes make me embarressed to be a football fan.

If you wanted more than a liquid toilet break you had to either clench your butt cheeks or go home and you knew full well never to stand near the toilets in summer as it stunk, and the only time you ever saw them on TV was on Match of the Day if they played a big club in the FA Cup. And you know what I had more fun back then than I've ever had with them in the premier league. |
