I just hope he doesn't turn into this year's Scott Schoeoeoeoeoeneoeoeonenweis.

Woot! Another White Sox Winner!

2 hours, 21 minutes - a veritable marathon outing for Buehrle.

The White Sox are looking really good this year. Garland has been incredible, especially after last season.

I was nervous when I saw Takatsu had been put in.

I cheered in the comp lab when he pulled off the save, though.

Dola, this is just too funny.

Speaking of Mags:

Quote:
He's a piece of [bleep]," Guillen told Sox beat writers after learning of Ordonez's contempt for Guillen and alleging his manager steered him away from the Sox and to Detroit.

"He's a [bleep], that's what he is," Guillen continued. "He's another Venezuelan [bleep]. [Bleep] him.

"He has an enemy. Now he has a big one. He knows I can [bleep] him a lot of different ways. He better shut the [bleep] up and play for the Detroit Tigers."

And I thought using Koch in only save situations during ST, and the very exitence of Timo Perez hitting 5th, was evidence enough.

Maybe he's an entertainer - I'm certainly more interested in their organisation now than I was in the Manuel era. I'm not meaning to demean Manuel by suggesting he wasn't as idiotic, just in different ways.

Yes, but Ordonez really needs to find a hobby that doesn't involve bashing the White Sox every chance he gets. The man's a broken record.

If he ever plays against the White Sox, I would pay money to hear what Pierzynski says to him when he comes up to bat. That oughta be good.

I liked:

You have a point, Dougie. I never cared about the Sox. My Chicago family members were always Cubs fans. Other than checking out what Thomas was doing, I never paid attention.

But, this I will pay attention to.

I want to see Dusty and Ozzie in a cage, no holy water or pee allowed.

Any press is good press, and Chicago media (and ESPN, for that matter) is decidedly slanted towards the north side of town.

Ozzie cracks me up. I like him, I think he's a terriffic guy. This season has me a little more concerned about him as a manager, but...heck, it's only his second season managing ANYWHERE. I'm willing to reserve final judgement until after this year is over.

Yes! I forgot about AJ. This could be entertaining!

I put "if" in bold, of course. It all depends on how Maggs's herkneea heals.

Pretty much all managers seem to be bad. You're far better off with a funny one than just a dull one.

Ooh, be careful with *that* kind of talk. Word may get out to the Bobby Cox Canonization Society, and then you'll be sorry...

Did anybody hear the "Ozzie Montana" thing on ESPN 1000 today? Classic.
