He’s going to make a tooon of money even if you think he’s merely above average, and by rate stats he was the 2nd highest ranked QB by Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt, behind only Purdy (who, system QB or no, he was very good last year). If I’m the Dolphins I’m getting him looked up immediately if I can because if I wait, he’ll probably just do the whole double franchise thing and leave.

Quarterbacks signing with new teams seems to be a mixed bag recently(Wilson, Watson, etc.)

Also the Dolphins have only played two playoff games in his four years. He is pretty much the definition of a mediocre quaterback. If I were the Dolphins I would wait and see what happens this year.
Tua is a decent QB that has great WRs. Now that they paid Waddle, and Hill makes a ton of money, they have to pay Tua.

I would consider Tua a capable QB. Without really good weapons, a poor to bad QB. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a better QB than Tua. He proved that on numerous occasions bailing out Tua when they didn't have great weapons.

Another sign the NFL is all about player well-being.

The league is sending GB & Philly to Brasil in a part of the country where no one wears green because of gangs. Players will have to stay in hotels & travel i armoured vehicles.

Or were you being sarcastic?

Looks like Xavier Howard will stay a FA for a while.

Interesting court case vs the NFL's drug policy.

I was just being stupid. But the only place they'd be wearing green is on the field. I'm not sure that would matter.

My opinion seems to not be popular. But I don't know why the league tests for recreational drugs. They're not driving a company vehicle, and not operating heavy machinery, so who the hell cares?

I can see if they get arrested on drug charges, or makes some public spectacle using drugs, that can be seen as actions detrimental to the league. But otherwise, why are you testing?

Isn't the idea to spread your game & business? Wouldn't players & staff touring the city during the week in your gear drum up interest? Instead, you play in an area that needs tanks for transport & can't display your apparel w/o igniting a shootout.

This is real stupid.

I can understand, in a game where we now acknowledge damages brain cells & promotes violence, why owners wouldn't want people freely taking drugs that kills more brain cells & induces paranoia.

But I also feel you can't prevent people from taking something that helps them to prevent others that will abuse it. I know the door that opens if he wins that case. There will be a bunch of Dr. Conrad Murray's diagnosing 90% of the NFL rosters w/behavioral issues that needs weed to counter it.

I don't think the NFL cares about brain cells. They never did. The policy in place is to show everyone they run a clean league. I'm of the opinion that they don't need to do that. No one is going to care one way or the other.

I have no idea what the present reasons are. But I'm not coming down on an employer having a policy that prevents the abuse of drugs. As an owner, I wouldn't want anyone high on the clock. But I would also want leeway for someone who needs a drug for legit reasons. We gotta achieve some balance here.

I agree. Which is why the league itself shouldn't get involved. I have no problem with individual teams setting policy for their players. Instead of blanket rules from the league that are harder to circumvent.

Fair breakdown of Bryce Young's 1st season. I think every aspect of the offense has to become NFL caliber. It can't be put all on 1 player or unit.

But I start w/the O line. The other spots don't affect the O-line's play as much as the front affects everybody else's play.
