First bold is complete BS. What's your source? Mine is below. Oops misread the year. For 1979 34 cases 4 deaths.

Second bold is also BS. No vaccine is ever 100% effective and no one claims that.

Unfortunately, this is not so. In 1956 there were over one hundred vaccine failures reported from various parts of the United States. Some of these patients have had severe paralysis and at least two have died.

Why even post such crap?

I just read a quote from Rogers saying he's taking the horse medicine. That's about all I need to know

In the 1970's there was a fairly widespread belief that the DTP vaccine caused neurological problems, supported by nonsense studies like this one:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/art...00857-0052.pdf

That's not even mentioning the many 60's parents who had lived through measles and mumps and thought the vaccines would make their kids too soft.

I'm sure he's just following the NFL's equine-intestinal-parasite protocol.

Yeah that's the Toronto Protest of 1919. I'd forgotten it despite studying it in school (I live in TO).

Good article here:

Homeopaths haven't changed in 100 years.

Quote:
Homeopath Henry Becker claimed that the vaccine virus was sourced from human corpses, prompting councillor Sam McBride to declare that he’d rather pay a fine than be vaccinated. Becker promoted isolation and quarantine as better safeguards.

Since the stupidity came straight from the horses mouth, then F Aaron Rodgers. Imagine taking medical advice from Joe Rogan. JFC. If he's really allergic, fine, but then say so a long time ago when you had the chance.

He is right about one thing, regarding what he said about politics. But, I'm ready to move on from this imbecile and I hope Green Bay does not bring him back next year. Let the Jordan Love era begin.

This will be a great opportunity for Love to show what he's got. He has a chance to go all Tom Brady on Rodger's Drew Bledsoe.

So, getting past all of this, including his rant against the “woke mob” and “cancel culture,” let's get down to the bottom.

How many people did Covid-carrying Rodgers infect after he refused to get vaccinated and ignored mask protocols? Even if only one, it is too much. Even if none, Rodgers did not have the right to put other people's health and lives at risk.

This made me chuckle: “Some of the rules are not based in science at all,” Rodgers said. “They’re based purely in trying to out and shame people.”

So, this is his scientific rationale:
Quote:
Rodgers in August told reporters during training camp that he had been “immunized” against the virus, a term that the journalists did not ask him to define further. On Friday, Rodgers said he did not want to take the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines because he had an allergy to an ingredient in them. He was also hesitant about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, he said, because the Food and Drug Administration recommended a temporary pause in administering the company’s shot in the spring because of rare instances of blood clots. Rodgers also said he was wary of the vaccines’ potential effects on fertility, a theory that most medical experts have said is unfounded.
He knows that he is allergic to an "ingredient" in the vaccines. Exactly how does he know this?

When it was a hot topic back in May, it was reported that "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday it had identified a total of 28 cases of serious, potentially life-threatening blood clots among the more than 8.7 million people who had received the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccination." A direct causal relationship has yet to be found.

As to "the vaccines’ potential effects on fertility," that's a new one on me. Sounds like something Rodgers found on Facebook.

“I’m not some sort of anti-vax, flat-earther,” Rodgers said. Heh. Okay.

Going back to the original question of this thread, after seeing Rodgers like this in the past few weeks, including the nationally televised F-word outburst during a game, I am very glad that the Jeopardy! producers did not go with this clown as the successor to the great Alex Trebek. What a travesty that would have been.

None.Unless it happened after he became infected with covid (we don't know whether this has happened or not). Non-vaccinated people don't pass covid along if they don't have covid. Just like vaccinated people don't pass covid along if they don't have covid. And again, even vaccinated people can catch covid (and even die from covid) and pass covid along to other people. Infecting other people with covid is not just an unvaccinated thing.

It is not equivalent either.

Honestly i can not find the site i was on for the 379,000 deaths. Perhapos it was cases worldwide? IDK. that was over 6 months ago. I did find this.

"Two doses of inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) are 90% effective or more against polio; three doses are 99% to 100% effective."

Also when i stated that, I had googled/duckduckkgo'd "Can you get polio if vaccinated by polio vaccine" and 2 sites said no. That was after the Conn's post. Your information is from 1956, mine is from today. Neither one of us are wrong.

Watch — somebody will relay the "half-cow babies" thing on Facebook and it will go viral, becoming the latest crackpot meme making the rounds.

The vast majority of us are ignorant, to put it mildly. It's how society attempts to educate those who are willing to learn, and controls the rest if the matters at hand are crucial*, that determines whether it is viable.
