There's no limit to the number that can join. We populate all the levels and in the rare case we have more than 30 at a level, we'll just split into 2 groups.

I think I'm caught up now, let me know if the invite was invalid.

If you've already opened your starter packs, I would honestly say we'd rather have your company than worry about following that restriction. Really, any F2P team who has been F2P the whole way is welcome to join. Happy to see so many new faces this season! In total, adding the returners, we're up to about 50 active teams or so.

yeah in retrospect the starter pack thing was dumb anyway - the loyalty packs are far more impactful than anything in the starter packs. One less rule for next year!

If it's not too late, I'm interested in joining BFF as well, with my two non-OL teams. I did open my starter packs a couple weeks ago (including loyalty diamond packs), but I am entirely FTP -- haven't spend a penny and won't. I'm happy to share my transaction logs if need be. My teams certainly aren't powerhouses, heh. I want to join mostly to learn more about the game.

I believe BFF is one team per customer. Others can confirm/deny that statement. You'll have to nominate one team and post that in the discord

We don't actually have a rule against multiple teams. However, no one has been crazy enough to try it yet. It generally takes quite a bit of time & effort to make F2P teams competitive. However if you want to give it a try, you are welcome to. Invite sent!

I have 2 F2P teams in BFF, one in Stone and the other in Bronze. Both are around .500 or a little above. I've improved the rosters through winning packs in tournaments and completing missions. And it does take a lot of time to do those things for 2 teams. My 3rd team which I will use $ at times has essentially been ignored and runs on auto-pilot.

I'd be thrilled to hop in with a F2P team and pick some brains and see how the league operates. I have a team that I've not opened any packs on - if it's not too late to join, here are my details:
