Roberto Frausto of Four Hands Typhon sets a new Beer League all-time hit streak record at 25!

When Roberto Frausto walked up to the plate for the second time in the game in the bottom of the 3rd inning, the home crown came to their feet in the hopes of witnessing some Beer League history. After a called strike for the first pitch, followed by a ball outside, Frausto swung at a fastball and stroked a single up the middle to notch a hit in his 25th straight game, breaking the old record of 24 set by Ivan Hidalgo earlier this season.

"I'd trade it for a 25 game winning streak for the team." Frausto said when asked about the accomplishment.
