Would have been different if a lot of balls had taken different bounces.

This was an awesome game. Two extremely talented teams (man those CB's and safeties are awesome on both teams!) duking it out down to the wire. If only every championship game could be this exciting. I was extremely impressed with both teams.

BTW. Post 2, for the record shows my crazy knowledge. I'm the innovator, those after me are just imitators.

Young has Oakland written all over him. His swagger and attitude are a perfect fit. There is talk that Oakland might find a way to trade up to assure themselves of one of the big players in the draft. At this point, they'll only need to be as high as three to at least get one of the big three.

How about this: Young goes pro. Texans trade the number one overall pick to Miami for Gus Frerotte. Miami drafts Young.

Sound good?

I would love to see Young in a Dolphin, Texan, or Eagle uniform...the Colts already have Manning even though I hated him at Tennessee. Eagles are my non-homer favorite team, only reason I mention them.

Regardless of where he goes Im probably buying the jersey.

I don't see why the Colts wouldn't draft him.

Id trade Manning to the Texans for the first pick (and VY) + some defense.

Im slightly biased.

Hopefully this game will kill the Pete Carroll as Coaching Genius idea. USC simply looked like a poorly-coached team, both on the field and in their preparation. Missed tackle upon missed tackle, botched laterals, the 4th-down decision at mid-field, calling their last TO on the 2-pt conversion.

Also, this has to be one of the worst-announced games I've ever heard. Keith Jackson showed every bit of his 97 years, and Fouts was almost as bad. Thank goodness for DVR!

Guys, it's been fun. Awesome game and I can't wait to get to work tomorrow to rant and rave about it. Again, congratulations to the Longhorn fans in the house. A very well-earned championship. Enjoy it.

I see everyone's forgotten John Madden exists.

Why do you think I posted earlier asking who Fouts and Jackson paid to be allowed to announce the game?

Selvin Young, I believe, just said USC was the better team and Texas just snuck out with a win.

"And USC calls a timeout here, looking to freeze the kicker, as the clock winds down to 00:00, and uh, we'll take a break."
