I'm unsure why the gold gloves would not be awarded. If you would like to upload your previous league files, we can run it ourselves and see if we have a problem. Otherwise I have not seen that problem.

The second one is by design at the moment - we only include those awards won in the majors. We can look into expanding it for a future release.

Third, the voting reminder is not an event. It is simply an email that goes out a week before the actual voting.

Try a league that has 16 teams making the playoff for 7 game series each, then see if each series gets an mvp. About 13-14 of them will, 2 will be missing. And before anyone asks, yes I do scroll right to the bottom of the middle section. When missing they end with the final game of the series.

If the player has left the team, then we did not display that. I will add an extra check to hopefully be able to find the correct player in that case.

This is a limitation in our current system. The hiring and firing emails are separate, so you will not see the new manager listed if you replace an old manager with a new one.

When I go to open a saved game, at 30%(when loading nation flags) the error TEMPLATES_ENGINES::load_templates_file - cannot open template file boxscores_page.tpl pops up. I press OK and the error load_templates() - could not load template boxscores_page.tpl pops up. I press OK and it brings me to my game, but I cannot view any boxscores.

This might be that I downloaded the game wrong, but I was wondering if you could help me and I hope this helped explain my problem, thanks.

After creating a fictional league I'm in the league settings trying to import a historical team. I get to the in-game file browser and the selector you move with your cursor is buggered. No matter what you highlight when you hit Enter you get some other folder. Sometimes the one above, sometimes one three slots above. When I finally managed to browse all the way to my Documents folder it only showed three folders, instead of the twenty or so that are in there.

So right now it's impossible to import a team because I can't get to the historical db due to the busted in-game file browser.

EDIT: After much digging around I managed to get to my historical db. I imported several teams from 1898 but found that once I got down to the Washington Senators the import always fails. Wash, Boston, Detroit, etc. All the teams at the bottom of the list fail to import.

Anybody else having problems importing? I imported from v14 to v15 using the v15 demo. I tried importing to v16 and it crashes about 5-10 minutes in each time. Just says OOTP encountered an error and needs to close. I have the trace mode file, just says it was copying a bunch of filed and not copying files...

Maybe not a bug per say but this might belong here.

In my watcher game, the AL Sliver Slugger (Platinum Stick) award does not award the DH position. I think its because the AI does not change a player's position to DH.

I had a few 3-way tiebreakers (and even 4-way) in 16.1.5 but they were all handled correctly. But in 16.2.9, I just had my first 3-way tiebreak since 16.2.9, but it was handled wrongly.

Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners all tied with 85-77 for the Second Wild Card slot. For those that are interested, the 3 division winners are Toronto Blue Jays (84-78), Cleveland Indians (87-75) and Oakland Athletics (91-71) and the First Wild Card Club is Chicago White Sox with 86-76.

As for the tiebreakers, they just had Detroit Tigers play Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers won this game. Then the game put Detroit Tigers through and then the playoffs has started. By right, the winner of this game (i.e. Detroit Tigers is supposed to host Los Angeles Angels and the winner will then be the Second Wild Card Club.

Any idea as to why I started crashing after I installed the update? It was working fine before the update.
