Yes I have the Strawberry demo. And I didn't buy him, it was Reading who did for $6.75 million, which I thought was pretty cool as Reading have a few Americans in the team already (Convey, Hahnemann).

I agree, I think it would be an extremely bad idea - they may as well have just a one-game playoff if they have a neutral site.

Completely agree. One of the great things about the WS is the amazing home crowd atmosphere. At the Super Bowl, the sponsors get so many of the tix that it sux.

Yep, both are in the game. Although in the quickstart they are mostly grey players in MLS (because you don't have either that or the Mexican league running).

No, because they are only quickstarts, and so the database is already loaded when you start the game.

sortitoutsi.com has up-to-date roster sets so it really isnt necessary to buy the new game.

I have three demos that I'm happily playing atm (Total Pro Golf, NHL EHM 2007, and FM 2007), which shows I'm not so easy to give out my money any longer.

But I have to say I have mellowed a lot from my previous opinions after actually playing the demo of FM. Makes me a bit of a fraud doesn't it?

Umm..no. Is it a fraud to take words of warning seriously and demand some level of reassurance before you throw down your hard earned money? I wouldnt say that is fraudulent; I would say its wisely cautious. UKHS will also probablt back down and buy it too.

I meant kicking up a fuss about no J. League, but now changing my mind and wanting to play it.

Of course it was after September 11, and the games were pushed back a week, and Game 7 of the World Series was played on November 4.

Btw if this World Series ends after Saturday, it will be the second latest finish in history (after 2001).

Have you tried giving Northwich Victoria a run in FM 2007. IMO they are the weakest side in the demo.
