Yes I have the Strawberry demo. And I didn't buy him, it was Reading who did for $6.75 million, which I thought was pretty cool as Reading have a few Americans in the team already (Convey, Hahnemann).

Peter Gammons just suggested they play the WS in a neutral site.

I agree, I think it would be an extremely bad idea - they may as well have just a one-game playoff if they have a neutral site. Luckily, and for once Bud is vehemently against this. |

![]() But I have to say I have mellowed a lot from my previous opinions after actually playing the demo of FM. Makes me a bit of a fraud doesn't it?

Of course it was after September 11, and the games were pushed back a week, and Game 7 of the World Series was played on November 4. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/ba...1ws_gm7_nyyari So we were both wrong.

I wasn't even a baseball fan then (or had the internet), but I just remember in the aftermath of 9/11 that sporting events were cancelled and moved to other dates.
Btw if this World Series ends after Saturday, it will be the second latest finish in history (after 2001). |

![]() Have you tried giving Northwich Victoria a run in FM 2007. IMO they are the weakest side in the demo. |
