As mentioned, there are two games involved; Apr.13 and Apr.14 versus Cedar Rapids (bad timing too). I will save my OL changes for more appropriate time windows.

Managing multiple teams over all versions of PT, I sometimes cruise the AH for all my teams while logged into one them. I have on more than one occasion jumped on a card that had a price that fit my budget, and purchased the player on the wrong account....

Like former Mets announcer the late Bob Murphy would say after an error was committed on the field" And that's why they put erasers on pencils".

Last season, though I wasn't competing in OL yet I was trying to run my teams with OL compliant rosters. I'd been checking for Live cards diligently, but a Future Legend snuck into the Cedar Rapids roster. I didn't notice until I was informed he won the batting title. He promptly went to the AH. I finally set up a filter this morning that lists live and future legend card types so I can hopefully catch it before it happens again.

Cary, Waffletown, and Nowhere set the early pace. Sugar Hill doesn't start OL play until June, but does play more than 20 games thereafter. No relegations to show.

I was trying to decide whether to use Willard Mullen's Bum or Billy Gallo's Bertha to depict the Warriors stormy outlook for this season. Imagine my delight when I found a picture of them together.

Yeah, Mullen was World Telegram to start, then perhaps, the Daily Mirror, which was the News' competitor for blood and guts mob photos on the front page. I think he also went to the Post (when it was still a real newspaper), and may have finished at the News.

I really think that together, they get the correct picture of your team's outlook - Bertha the eternal optimist, and the Bum the reality check. The silver lining to your dark cloud is that you'll fall back a level from the big dogs and get to develop your team and still compete for a crown.

first no-hitter for Waffletown in v22... and the impressive part to me is, it was done at home (where the park factors are cranked to max offense)

We'll find out on Sunday; I save all packs and open them up then. It's part superstition - I feel my pack luck is better when I save them - and with my theme team I only change one card a week anyway!

Out of the 4-5 Historical packs I have opened, they have been a really disappointment.

The only card I got to get excited about was a 88 SP Negro League Ray Brown.

My 100 Burleigh Grimes came from a Standard Pack!

My pack luck continued on a hot streak last night with Texarkana landing the 100 Brooks Robinson. The packs seem to be going really well this year, but don't know if I've been extremely lucky, or if it is the vast increase in packs I'm opening compared to prior years due to playing bronze tournaments like a madman.
