Alright, I didn't get enough time to play around with minor league totals and I have to crash, so I'm uploading this now.

CubbyFan's 2009 Release v3.0

Good news is DFA problem seems to be fixed. It seems that the computer just wants to run the DFA'd guys through waivers, and for some reason then does not remove them from waivers and cuts them when they pass through waivers.

This makes no sense to me and is probably some wacky AI, but I just removed them players from being DFAd and left them on the waiver wire, and the computer AI seems fine with that and won't try to DFA them anymore. I would recommend simming 3 days to pass all of those guys through waivers before you start doing anything as a manager.

Enjoy!

(also I always forget something, so please remember to allow ghost players on the league setup screen if you don't have a huge draft or auto fill the lower minors)

Hey Cubby,

I just started going through the rosters, and found a mistake. Ty Wigginton is on Houston in your roster, not Baltimore. Just letting you know.

If I find anything else I will be sure to post it.

After you unzip the roster, drag the folder that ends in .lg to the saved games folder. Then you just load it up like any other saved game. Hope this helps.

Basically I was using the old roster set and the game crashed right after the world series...is there any way to continue where I left off, the day after the series, using these new rosters that are going to be uploaded soon?
Hey Cubby before I load the new file do you know if this is possible?

Just as a heads up for Cubby and anyone else interested, The Rays pitching and hitting coaches "Teach" ratings are backwards. For example, the pitching coach's (Jim Hickey) teach hitting rating is much higher than his pitching rating and vice versa for the hitting coach (Steve Henderson).

It's a simple change for anyone who wants to do it.

After you download the file it should appear as a zipped folder. Right-click on it and choose extract. This will put a new folder (unzipped) somewhere, probably on your desktop. If you open this folder there is another folder inside. I don't remember the title but it ends in .lg. Remember where this is.

Now go to my documents, ootp, ootp, saved games. Drag the folder that ended in .lg into the saved games folder. Once you have done this open ootp and choose load game. This is from memory but should be right. I saw somewhere that you have to drag the folder in, not cut and paste. Also make sure you are getting the folder that ends in .lg. The unzipped folder contains this folder, you have to move the right one.

Hope this helps.

Not sure unfortunately, as I never nailed down the reason for the first crashes. Simmed to 2016 last night though with no crashes.

Yeah if anyone else sees this type of thing let me know, I think I might have missed on a few non-tendered arb eligible players like Wigginton.
