Lagging when you have lots of fonts is a system problem, not a problem with this utility itself.

The app doesn't (and, in fact, can't) read system fonts, so the number of installed fonts shouldn't matter. But I wouldn't be surprised if adding hundreds of fonts into the app causes performance issues. I certainly never added more than a couple of dozen when I was developing it.

Minor request if you feel like it Would it be possible to add the 4 default Color Swatches to the Preferences section?

Minor troubleshooting

@eriqjaffe, this tool is great, I've recently been using it a lot more and enjoying it a ton, thanks so much for making it.

I've got a strange use case. I'm running 10.13 in PowerShell, I've modified some minor things in the layout and graphics based on my own work. In this setup I've hit a couple of snags.

But I've found that in OOTP26 the font file output is not being read by OOTP. I manually select the font png for a given team and get a red filename and the default name/number font. This same problem is happening when running the exe and the default setup.

Second, I uploaded a custom jersey layer (a gradient) to a uniform. I then deleted that image layer, made some more uniforms by just modifying, rather than starting from scratch. When I made another uniform with a custom layer, I uploaded the file and wound up with the old custom layer and the new one overlaid on the jersey. (I'm not sure I'm explaining this well: when opening an existing jersey with a custom layer, deleting that layer, modifying the jersey, and then later adding another custom layer, both custom layers are visible with no way to delete the first one.)

I replicated this glitch on the exe version of the program as well. I attached the jersey files to this post to show what i mean.

Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thank so much for the hard work!

No idea, as long as the font is in the proper folder OOTP should just...recognize it.

Hmm. Not sure about that either, but I'll see if I can replicate it. I wonder if there's a problem with temp files or something there. What I can say for sure is that I've never been able to make reloading uniforms work 100% properly.
