"Our League" Season 4--Who Wants To Play Our Way?

Sugar Hill made a single move acquiring Carl Erskine while shipping Dick Bosman to the reserve roster. Bosman was moved because he doesn't fit the theme, otherwise the choice would be different.

Coney Island made two, George Cutshaw will be the starting second basemen with Brent Gates sent to the reserve roster. The Warriors also signed Bob Groom. To make room they optioned Bill Campbell and slid former starter Carl Mays to the bullpen.


I'm a little concerned as Mays is my second starting pitcher that now has a bullpen assignment for the Warriors. I know the stuff bump was removed but I thought I heard recovery time is slower. I don't care about the stuff boost, more concerned stamina/recovery time. I ended up with a lot of starters in the bullpen last version. Part was due to price in the AH and the other as I upgrade the rotation, I drop the least effective pitcher on the active roster.

I will check in later to adjust my friend lists. Good to those still in the playoffs.

I just checked in on the playoffs and it seems that your three teams have a shot at the PT series. Could I get you to post your team logos in this thread in case I need them to put on a plaque/patch later. I prefer not to have to use the generic logos I made if possible. Thanks.


By the way, I'm guessing the Chandler is the one in Arizona, just south of Mesa. I was stationed at Luke AFB in 1972 and remember having to go go there a few times, but can't seem to recall why.

It seems there are some OL teams battling for post-season honors in PT, with all OL World Series still possible in R78 and ST102. I'll check back in around six or seven, hopefully to post some hardware.

Texarkana was crushed by a pretty loaded team in the the Division series that won our division by 25 games (and Texarkana had a 100+ win season). Cedar Rapids is still in the hunt in the league sub-series.

The CR logo is one of the Reds logos in the game. I can hunt it down if needed.

West Burlington fell in the Conference finals, negating the chance for another all OL series. The South Holland El Caminos represent the final OL team still alive in the PT playoffs, as OL teams came up short in four other leagues.

In his first season my 85 Peak CF Otis Nixon was totally bonkers, hitting over .300 with 91 SB and 5.5 WAR. This next week I am adding 83 SP Rip Collins, along with Build-a-Legend bronzes Jake Peavy and Ryne Sandberg.

As expected, Art of War is killing the competition in R78. It was considered a minor upset when West Burlington and Boston each won a game from the Statisticians to keep from being swept.

The underdog and vastly over-matched South Holland club also achieved a win, taking their final series to a game 5. The El Caminos, down by 2 entering the bottom of the 9th in Game Four, got a 2-out, 2-run single from Butch Henline to get the comeback win.

The El Caminos made it to the series via a 5-run top of the 8th in Game 7 of their Sub-League series against Algoma.

UPDATE: South Holland drops game 5 and the series is over. Like a bad chulupa, the El Caminos kept coming back on the Statisticians, but in the end, they ran out of gas.

Thanks. I cannot keep my logo permanent right now. I know this has been discussed a lot and in previous years but it is very annoying. I may switch to a Crake logo rather than a Helthwyzer one so those will come in handy.

Let me know if you want either one without the name on it. I agree with the aggravation it causes when graphics keep disappearing. The randomness of is can be frustrating as well. You can go along seemingly forever, then it decides to start messing with your graphics or line-up.
