After all is said and done, can we have a list of the new feature list in an easy-to-read text form so we don't have to wade through hours of video and streams and podcasts?
I could honestly care less about watching the new features in a reveal type video format. I just want to be able to read what is new. Then when it comes out on Steam I will purchase it and use my two hours to decide if I want to refund it or not. Last edited by rudel.dietrich; 02-22-2021 at 05:22 PM. |

Hey guys...
Can not wait for 22. This will be around my tenth year for the pre order. Each game has been better (and harder) than the last one. Thank you development team for years of enjoyment. As a Mac user, I do have one question. Will my old MacBook Air with only 4 GB memory be able to run 22? I only ask because I was looking into FHM7 and found out the minimum requirement is 8 GB memory. |

OOTP21 is my first experience with the game...love it! I am planning on upgrading to the new version when available. Just confirming...custom leagues designed in OOTP21 will be upwardly compatible with the new game, correct?

every year i think - last years version will serve my needs quite well for quite a few years. Then a new version comes out, and darn if it isn't better than the last one. So i say this one will be good enough for a long time .... and the next version is even better. i see no reason not to believe the same is true this year. this company has a track records that's quite impressive!!

While I agree announcing the release before telling consumers just what it is you want them buy is putting the cart before the horse, I none the less pre ordered because I've been playing this game since it first came out and new version have never failed to disappoint.

Will be interesting to see what features OOTP 22 will have. The next 2 years will contain the most 'make or break' versions in franchise history IMO. See you in March. |

Consider me excited!
Not sure why some think this is bad marketing... announcing a new product, detailing when new information will come out, and providing an opportunity to save money... for a known product. I guess if you want to be mad, go ahead... |

I haven't seen anyone indicate they are angry. Perhaps some people are more cautious, especially about a known product.

If I bought it here (not through Steam), how would I be informed that there is a patch to install? Do I need to periodically check the message boards here, or would I receive some notification elsewhere?

Generally speaking, the popups you get when you open the game will mention if a new patch is released. If you miss that, then there is a button in-game to check for updates. Or, as you say, you can monitor the forums, discord, twitter, etc... and we generally announce it everywhere when patches are available.

I should have wrote "new versions have never failed to disappoint" and to clarify I've been an OOTP disciple since the original version way back when.

www.pisd.co.uk
What happened to ordering on www.pisd.co.uk so you don't have to go through steam? Is that still going to be available for version 22.
I am asking specifically for the linux version. |
