I've been working on this for a while, and I've gotten int working. With a couple of caveats - you can upload your own fonts.

What are the caveats?

1. The browser doesn't have direct access to your installed fonts, so it's a manual upload process. That's a basic security thing and I can't change that (and I wouldn't even if I could).
2. The browser - at least in Windows - can't access your default Fonts folder (i.e. C:\Windows\fonts - see my security note above), so you'll have to copy whatever fonts you want to use somewhere else, like a temp folder on your Desktop or something.
3. I've run into a few fonts that just don't work for reasons I can't identify. So this may always be a slightly hit-or-miss thing.
4. Uploaded fonts will only be available during the current session - if you close or refresh the browser the fonts will disappear from the list.
5. Uploaded fonts will only be available to you, so other people won't be able to access fonts you've uploaded.

I believe your thread was stickied when it was first started - but in the process of cleaning up the Mods forums, we unstuck basically everything (Because there was like 9 or 10 stickies - it was too much). I combined most into "HOW TO" thread - which your post is #2 because of its ease-of-use.

Ever wanted to use this as a desktop app? Well, now you can!

Please note that this is very much a beta release so things may or may not work quite as expected, but everything should work.

Binaries are available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

If macOS blocks the app because of security reasons (not a bad thing for it to do, ultimately), you can work around that by clicking on the app while holding the CTRL key down and then choosing "Open" from the menu. That will bring up a slightly different version of the security screen with an option to actually open the app. I think you only have to do that CTRL-click thing once per app.

Note that you will also need to have a working installation of ImageMagick for full functionality.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking - the diagonal text is in both the desktop and online versions already.

Yep. Just double-checked and it's there on Chrome on macOS, at least on the Mac I have access to.

It doesn't pop immediately on Chrome on Windows for me but it does work (and oddly, you can't click on anything in Firefox).

Huh - works as expected in FF for Windows for me. I think at the worst you can still use your mousewheel and scroll around the list of effects.

As a side note - both the web and desktop versions have been updated to fix an issue where the jersey & sleeve stripe color were kind of linked together and interfering with each other (thanks to Adam B for alerting me to that).

Let me rephrase, it works, but I can't click the check mark boxes in Firefox. Weird.

Yeah, I can't think of anything else that would cause that. I certainly can't replicate it.
