Thanks GForce22,
Like Rolen last year, it's nice to be able to play the game right off the bat with real players. I hope you're well rested, I have a 10 month old and she never sleeps. ![]() Todd |

thanks grismosw. Even if you don't do the salary conversions or anything, if I get the right contract lengths I'll put them in.
Thanks Todd. Been hard getting rest now. I've been up at the hospital late, then coming home and working on the rosters. When he gets home it'll be sleep when he sleeps. I'm taking what time I can now, because I don't know when I'll have it later. But exhaustion never felt so good ![]() GH |

I know that GForce did the rosters released with the game, so I was wondering something.
Are these beta rosters just a conversion of the fictional names to the real names of the players, or are they completely different? |

Note to all on the beta rosters: a ratings adjustment. Andruw Jones should have an A range, not C in CF. By the time Opening Day gets here I will have gone through the major league guys and updated them as well, but that's one that was pointed out I thought was worth mentioning. GH |

Where do I get these. When I click the download link, I get a blank new browser window, but no download. Thanks.

I downloaded the 2003 rosters form some other site as well, please check out page 3 of this thread, I don't want to give out the address since it's not mine.
One thing I did was use the 2003 rosters with the 2002 coaches/stadium files. I just copied the coaches.dat, managers.dat and records.dat files from my 2002 roster folder to the 2003 roster folder. Now I have the 2003 rosters w/ my 2002 coaches. Seems to work for me until the v1.0 of the 2003 rosters come out. |

If anything is rediculas its Chris Woodward. Im sure this isnt something Rolen did and was a database created split, but hes a machine with low talents.

Was just wondering . . . I've never tried to update a roster set in a league in progress before. What should I expect if I try to do that? For example, if I'm halfway through a season in which trades and cuts have been made and I install an updated/revised roster set, do all the players stay where they've been traded or moved to and just get their ratings revised?
Or am I forced to start a new league? Might be a dumb question, but I just don't know how it works.

Thanks for the work on the face pack for the roster set. I've got my rosters up and running but the Batchthumbs program is being a real PITA. It's giving me all sorts of ugly error messages when I try and do the .bmp conversion. "Invalid Cursor" "The specified resource type cannot be found in the image" etc. Any troubleshooting advice? I'd like to get these bad boys up and running before I crank things up. Thanks, -E Last edited by enuttage; 03-02-2003 at 06:43 PM. |

Are any of the player salaries off besides Kevin Browns?
