Yeah I have to pretty much agree that its going to be an impossible task to ever come close to getting this completely adjusted.

I think as this thread develops the way I am looking to best handle this in the league has changed.

I think that adjusting the league totals or in this case just leaving them in '94 with maybe a couple minor tweaks would do the trick for the majority of players. The one thing I would really like to get at for the rest of the post would be, to use some ootp jargon, player that went from a 1 or 2 star player to a 5 star player. I think this is going to be the most reasonable way to go about it.

Well I had a few busy days at work, and coming back to this and taking a fresh look.....I have to say this was a ill conceived idea. Letting the league totals and ootp aging modifiers keep everything more in line, is a better idea and a less ambiguous way about going about this.

Thanks for all of the posts and comments on this subject, they where appreciated.

Clemens didn't use steroids. He built his arm strength by thrusting his throwing arm into a barrel of rice 300 times per day. That's it. Uncle Ben's is not a banned substance.

Seriously, though, I'm not on the "Clemens used steroids" bandwagon yet. His workout regimen is ridiculously intense, and it has been for a long time.

Having a ridiculously intense workout regimen does not necessarily mean that you *don't* use steroids. Actually, one of the primary things that steroids do is that they allow you to work out harder and longer before your body breaks down. Bill Romanowski had crazy intense workout sessions as well.

Anyway, it is pure speculation but Clemens' body has changed nearly as much as Barry Bonds' has. Not just more muscles; I mean, Clemens has the big head you expect from someone who's used a lot of HGH as well.
