No way to re-import cities & nations.

The editor lets you add nations, and edit current ones (name, baseball level, population, ethinicities & languages).

That's in there already It isn't mentioned because it really isn't a new feature but rather a bug fix

Uh, Ok Cool! You might want to put it in there since you could not play Head to Head last year....most of the players in our league did not upgrade to the new version because of it.

Also, while I'm at it, is there going to be a quick way to set up exhibition games, ala pre-2006?

There's a quick way in 2006. Just use the Edit Schedule feature.

I believe the answer is yes, but will we be able to use the stats export/import to fix stats that previously had the 255 limit? Ie, if runs rolled over, could we go back to the season in question and put in 287 for runs allowed?

Thanks.

Well, I think you should give yourself a raise! I am truly excited about this. I have used outside programs in previous versions but there was none for 2006. Thanks for nagging.

Just curious but what are the extent of the Injuries? Are they all shorter term (i.e. the guy caught the flu), or can they also be season ending or even career ending (Roberto Clemente).

Also, how tweakable is this? Can you turn it on/off, and if so, can you select the maximum tier of injury possible (if there are multiple tiers).

Just curious...

I am a long time reader over a year but first time poster on these boards.

So the Sopranos are going to be building me a new ballpark.
How long should the injury be for if I miss a payment?

I can just see the injury now.

Maimed by Tony Soprano.

Boy this has a lot of potential.

I'm thinking this injury should be for at least 3 months if not longer.

Looking at the smilies I don't know how long a player should be out if they get eaten by a lol

This will take 10 seconds to implement once you know how.

I know you want to hear from Markus or battists on this, but in the meantime I can assure you that there are all sorts of injuries in the 2006 version, that they ranged from day-to-day to career-ending, and that they were customizable in terms of types of injuries and duration. This was all described in the Customization Guide which, when it becomes available again (the web site is currently under repair), will be a great source of information on this topic. Bear in mind, however, that it refers to OOTP 2006.

On second thought, here, I don't think battists will mind that I copied to a text file just the three pages of the Customization Guide that contain information on injuries. This will give you a good idea, I think.

Steve, PM me if you do mind and edit as necessary . . .

Then there was the Mike Matheny injury when he got a hunting knife for his birthday right before the playoffs and when he was pulling the knife out to look at it he cut his hand.

Just another injury.

Birthday mishap.

I just hope none of my players go hunting with Vice President Cheney. lol
