Multiplayer league managers simming games and uploading results....still crushed over this....

For one thing already Mentioned: Bullpen warmups would be great, but please add it in for all teams, just not human controlled ones.

Markus initiated a discussion about this very topic here.

To re-hash, IMO the biggest thing missing from V6 is the definable player value using the combination of Ratings & Stats for the past 2-3 years.

The top systems are there....but in regards to the top performances Bruce were referring to...I believe he meant more along the lines of the old lists that used to be in the Record Book. 5+hits, No Hitters, 15+ K games 3+ HR Games...(and the old RB had 20 win seasons and 50 HR seasons included)...should make the Top Performances but they will not be tracked beyond the current season. So for example...there is no list that I'm aware of that will list all my leagues no-hitters.

I'm new to OOTP (well, I played a demo of 5 a while ago but never really played an baseball sim till now)... but what I didn't like about the stars is that it was hard to see how they related to a player's value. A 5 star reliever often wasn't even worth a 2 star regular player... and the blue stars were prospects right?

As a person who has experienced the stars but never played with them, I don't think they're that great... maybe I just never fully understood their glory, though

Teams set as human controlled

The ability to just select mulitple teams as either Human or CPU controlled.
In all other versions you go to team setup, click the button to toggle between human and cpu contol. You can do this for as many and as few teams as you like to give you absolute control of the team. The ai touches nothing.

This also meant that every team marked as a human team would get a popup during autosim saying if there was a trade, email, injury, etc.

That also brings up receiving a notification when a player comes off the DL.

As mentioned here a big one is the league wide financial report, which showed payrolls, highest paid players, attendance, and team by team financial report.

And one of my favorites...average age was also on the league financial report in 6.5.

While it's not official, I'd imagine your All-Star MVP would be the player of the game.

Two biggest omissions (also posted in techinical support):
1) Player Contracts and Stat recognition:
Honestly, I like the idea of being able to set how much money different types of hitters would make, but it is executed very poorly. The main problem, I believe, is that the AI does not seem to take statistics into account at all. For instance, I had a second baseman who had nearly perfect contact ratings and just had massive potential - though he completely lacked power or any defensive skills. Well, after racking up a mere 7 career home runs and a .291 batting average, the guy became a free agent. He demanded $26,000,000 a year!!! I realize this is because the AI sees that he is a second baseman and has off-the-charts contact skills - but it is a serious problem that the AI cannot evaluate his actual mediocre performance. To me this needs to be fixed ASAP. But how? Well, I do miss the "Player Evaluation AI Setup" from 6.5 where you could distribute how the AI measures talent. Personally, I believe that statistics of a player's actual performance should have overwhelming influence on the AI, because I value realism - but perhaps that's not everyone's taste...But I definitely do suggest that something to the extent of the "Player Evaluation AI Setup" be brought back to OOTP as soon as possible. I think this is the root of OOTP2006's problems.

2) DL Notifications:
Really...I'm surprised this hasn't been added back in yet. Please add back the option to receive emails when a player is ready to be activated from the disabled list. I know this is missed by lots of people.

-Show who the player got his 500th HR or 3000th hit off of
-Stars
-Coordinates on Pbp correct again(have them line up where they are supposed to)
-Import teams
-Ability to edit league structure any time inbetween seasons(before preseason like in december) so we can add teams before the lahman db is imported
