You can type in the amount if you want...

Markus, you are in direct violation of the cease and desist court order. I must insist that you change your avatar to the new OOTPB logo immediately!

example for clarity:

player is asking for $5,000,000 for 3 years
GM offers and exports $4,000,000 for 3 years
player rejects offer on day 1 of the sim
players goes 12-22 with 3 HR and 10 RBI during the 1 week sim
player now wants $5,500,000 for 3
GM sees rejection and new request
What's the problem? Isn't that what happens now? Well, it does if you process movement before a sim, but I've never understood why you would do it after when the sim might change his demands.

The only problem I see with all this is that those leagues who have quirky rules to make up for faults in the game might lose the ability to implement some of those rules. For that reason, I think this automation should probably be optional.

Actually, with the way I leave offers, it would be more like:

"Offer $3500 for the first year, $3750 the second, $4250 the third, $4400 the fourth. If he rejects the first year amount but is satisfied with the second-through-fourth, increase the first year to $3650. If the first, third and fourth are acceptable but he rejects the third, offer $4350. If he rejects the first and third but is satisfied with the second and fourth...."
