Russian River first baseman Roberto Garcia has announced he will retire from the Beer League at the end of this season. Garcia was an inaugural member of the league in 2020 with Daft Badger; and went on to play for Funky Buddha, Big Sky, Crooked Crab, Firefly Hollow, Weyerbacher, and Russian River.

Garcia has appeared in 1399 games, with 5768 at bats, 1568 hits, 323 doubles, 45 home runs, 627 RBIs, 592 runs scored, a .301 average, and a 31.5 career WAR. He was a 5 time all-star; a platinum stick winner in 2025; and a Milling Series MVP in 2028. He also holds the single season record for post-season batting average and on-base percentage (.571 for both), achieved during the 2028 playoffs.
