Thanks for looking at it though, it appears that somewhere along the line my league (which was started with your v3.0) file got messed up and changed everyone's experience to 183 at pitcher, and yet when you said you didn't see it I reinstalled from your file and sure enough everthing was back to normal. I have no idea how it happened but I will definately be watching in case it happens again. Thanks again.

Also you may wanna load the stats txt's into excel and compare things if you are going to use Murmur's Japanese stuff again. Because he has guys like Ichiro and Dice K as retired players for the Japanese leagues, so you will need to edit the player numbers to get those stats pointed at your players. and then finally delete those players from the retired list. I do not want to spoil the great work or anything here, but I kind of agree with APujols on this issue above.

I am not really familiar with the roster creating teq, so maybe I do not have right to say a stuff about it, but I seem to bump into various errors here and there when I am playing with this roster set, (No matter if I turn off the waiver or not) and it made me think that something very basic about this roster set could be unstable...

I still see some of the relievers' names on the stats ERA column (RP with 4IP, with 0.00ERA)

The game will crash when I try to see certain player's ratings (not one, but at least several players. I do not remember who they were, cause the game crashes right after I hit the player...)

The game once crashed when I try to see the game schedule of my team.

I really think it is a shame because I know that this roster set can be one of THE GREATEST ROSTER SET WITH REAL PLAYERS out there, but it is not really trusty as it is, because of the small errors we see.

Again, I want you to understand Cubby & Co., that I am not camplaing or anything.
Just suggesting that it could be perhaps better to double check all the procedure you guys took in order to create this roster set, and get some third opinions from other roster creators, before you move on any further.

For what it's worth...I was managing my first spring training game with the new roster set...and I had a 60 minute SNOW delay.

I just wanted to take a minute to post in response to some complaints about stability with the game/roster set. My only issue is the season stats showing non qualified pitchers leading the league no matter what I do.

I am in the year 2013 not once have the Rays made it to the World series Toronto Boston and NY own that Division. Even though I agree one or two Cubby prospects (Felix Pie) may be over rated they only won their division once but failed to make it to the WS.

Cubby et all I appreciate the hard work the game has not once crashed on me the set has performed way better then expected after the problems I had with 2006.

Downloaded 3.0 with no problem on my PC - works fine. On my laptop, I keep getting a database is corrupt message - any ideas?

I have had all the files run smooth here. (I'm on a Mac) With the exception of two things.

I had some issues with the file quitting on me during Version 1.1. It seemed to have to do particularly with Player pictures. When I'd click on a player's profile (Kevan Kelley of the Marlins comes to mind) or a particular player would show up in the main news area, the game would quit. I resolved this like this:

League Options>Global Setup>Player & Picture Options>Fictional Picture Options

I Set them As: Player Pictures for- No Fictional Pictures
Create Player Pictures- Upon Player Creation
Update/ Generate Player Pictures- Each Jan. 1st
Coach Pictures for- No Fictional Pictures
Face Gen Color Mode- Normal

One of these did the trick. I've used these settings on all versions of Cubby's roster without a single quit since. I've simmed as far as 7 seasons. Hope this helps someone. If anyone knows a better way which will keep generated pictures available, I'd like to know too, but I'm more concerned with stability in the file.

I've also noticed the AL pitching leader issue, and was told Cubby & the rest are aware. Besides there are bigger fish to fry.

Otherwise, it's been smooth sailing all the way around here.

I also had crashes, on a Mac, because of player pictures- Daniel Bard with Boston was the culprit. I worked out that the crashes were caused when the game tried to update the picture; if you set 'Update/Generate Player Pictures' to 'Always if needed', then any time in the season you go to Bard or Kelley's profile, it will try to update and crash. By changing it to 'On Jan 1st', you avoid the crash on any day of the season besides Jan 1st- if you start a new league, be careful not to navigate to those player profiles on the first day of the league, or you will probably have the crash issue. For reasons unknown to me, the problem seems to fix itself after one season.

I've never really worked with FaceGen, but I think it should be possible to simply delete the offending pics as well.

Yes sir it works perfectly fine...just had a friend of mine try the game for the first time and I gave em the link to download and it works perfect for him with no crashes.

thank you how do i utilize it in the game is their a step by step process written anywhere
last year i just imported it in but i can't find that option when i set up a game now
