agreed... it's never going to be exact when you're relying on 60 different people to log in on Sunday night to update their list of friends; so the fact we have the vast majority from the list in both leagues is a positive thing

You should be number 10 on the diamond list. It's alphabetical, but capitals are sorted, then lowercase, which makes it challenging.

I know that you and Dunzie are right, but it is disappointing to foresee a third straight week where an outsider walks away with the title. His active roster is a 91 and his reserve roster is also well over the cap. Five super whales or one - same result so far.

Ah thanks, didn't catch on to that wrinkle. Makes sense of course, I certainly would have designed it to be case-sensitive when sorting alphabetically.

Well... to be the ray of sunshine...


For me, it's less about winning the championship and more about the banter we get around here. And honestly, my Blue team has been up against killer whales since the first season Perfect league level was available... and usually 5-10 of them. If I wanted any shot of winning I needed to spend a little money or get really lucky along the way. I did a little of both. And honestly, despite not having all the high cards they often did (one team had all perfects except 4 diamonds on their active roster!!), I usually competed OK and even won a WS title and made it to the finals two other times (we won't bring up the Yakety Yaks last night... )



... so for ME, having one sneak in and 28 or 29 other teams that all have similar roster investment is a huge bonus. I guess the advantage I have is still having a few reserve roster guys so if I end up against one of them in the playoffs I could at least boost up slightly.

Orcin, I hate to add a little more work but I wonder if there is space any Perfect Level Champions to be mentioned in the first post. With seasons so quick it's easy to forget.


I know there was a non-compliant winner last season. What about Season 10? I think Zorro won??

Hi Orcin, I think you left me off the list... The_Savage_1 (Merewether Storm). I was supposed to be on the diamond waiting list but somehow made it in to D379... I suspect I was still on the friends list of one of the other gold league graduates or it was just random luck. In any case, I'm in and well under the cap.

I was actually looking to do a league just like yours with the salary cap and didn't know about the league that you have created. I was wondering if I would be able to join your perfect league with those cap rules for the next season. If so, what would I need to do (have to make some adjustments to my team to get a roster for your requirements)?

I will add your information to the first post. It would be great to have you and it will help us to have someone from another perfect league join.

You will need to read the first post in this thread for instructions. Basically, clear your friends list and then add the people in the perfect list. Change your league placement setting to use friends list, and you should be good to go.

It is only the active roster that counts against the cap, so you can stash your extra diamonds etc. on the reserve roster. You can swap them around from reserve to active as much as you want, as long as the active stays at or under the cap.
