Thanks
That shows the order in which they search to find your cards when you click SUBMIT. It only matters if you have duplicate cards for a mission. For example, say you have a Frank Howard (call him card "A") on the inactive list and the same Frank Howard card (call him card "B") on the Reserve Roster.

If the order is 1 Locked, 2 Inactive, 3 Reserve, 4 Active:

OOTP looks for a locked Frank card - doesn't find one. Then it looks for an Inactive Frank card. It finds card A and locks it.

However, if the order is 1 Locked, 2 Active, 3 Reserve, 4 Inactive:

OOTP looks for a locked Frank card - doesn't find it. Then it looks ion the Active roster - not found. Then it looks on the Reserve roster. It finds and locks Frank "B".

So this lets you know with certainty which card will be locked when you submit a collection.

Note that if you only have 1 copy of the card this doesn't have any effect... OOTP will eventually find the card and lock it!

I responded before seeing your second response.

Thanks Jason for clarifying things.

not really if you ask me.... figure even if you lock your active roster cards first, if/when you replace them in the lineup they'll just end up on the reserve/inactive eventually anyway...

and it doesn't really impact me since I just sell off my dups as soon as I get them... some people will collect multiples of the same card to play the market and such

Ok, you might have been wondering where I went...

So I had open heart surgery (right chest wall entry so sternum did not have to be broken) to replace my aortic valve last Friday morning. I was released from intensive care to hospital on Saturday afternoon, and then released from the hospital Monday afternoon. Since then I have been convalescing at my parents' house but I have no access to OOTP 21 while that is going on.

So essentially, my three teams: Weston Pointe Caspers-OL, Cary Southpaws-OL, and Perfect Pitch-BFF, have all been on autopilot since last Thursday morning, and will continue to be for the next several days at least.

I am finally feeling up to touching base with you all, though, and caught up to the thread. I look forward to getting back to the game!

Damn, hope all is going well. The Caspers are kicking some ass as expected.

Wow...I hope you know that there are easier ways to get attention instead of going through all of that!

I am sure that your folks and yourself are relieved and hopefully the worst is in the past and it is all down hill sailing from here on out.

Glad you touched base with us to let us know what was going on.

Make sure you follow the doctors orders and don't over do it as you only get one chance on healing the right way.

Today's Iron Shuffle

The top three have all changed places with Kansas making its way to the top. I did a quick scan, Kansas has 17 OL games left, Hidden Valley 30 and Weston Pointe 19. Weston Pointe and Hidden Valley have 7 games left head-to-head.

In PT play- Four of the five divisions housing OL teams are all but decided. Kansas has pulled ahead of Vegas in the NC East and has a four game lead. Either way the second place team is assured the top wildcard. This is where re-seeding after the WC would seem more fair-Unless your Cary Southpaw fan as their division series opponent has a .481 winning % while Kansas and Vegas could go head-to-head.

In the wildcard races Annadale holds down the top spot in the AC with Bluffton in a dead heat for the second spot. In the NL Coney Island off a dismal 9-15 July trail for the second wildcard spot by 2 games with Palolo 6.5 behind the Warriors.

Glad to see things going well so far. Just be like like your first OL mascot. Your teams seem to be doing their best for you. Hang in there, and welcome back brother.

Shinbone Feasts Again with Late Rally

The Stars realigned themselves after Asylum came back from a 3-games-to-one, deficit in the "Food Fight 2," tying the season series and taking a 3-2 lead into the top of the 7th. Shinbone tied it on a sacrifice fly for the second out, and then tacked on three more two-out tallies to win the game, 6-3, and the season series, 4-3. Both teams appear set to remain in silver, though a late run might push one of them up. Neither is likely for relegation.

The Stars were once again well fed, this time at the famous Shinbone floating restaurant, Di Mezzo il Mare, before being whisked to a private party, headlined by The Count Five, at their club, "The Psychotic Reactor." Pictures are available in a previous post in this thread.

Thanks for checking in. I’m glad things went well and you have my wishes for a speedy recovery. Your teams are doing great without you don’t worry about them!

My 2 OL teams had a pretty good month last month. They both seem to play the same, one month they both play mediocre, the next month they both play great, like they have some sort of psychic link between the two of them. It’s strange.

I got a big PP windfall for Brigadoon when Ethan Allen hit four homeruns and had 10 RBIs in one game. Funny thing is, with the PP he earned I’m probably going to replace him since he’s one of the last Bronze players who’s playing every day on that team! So that’s ironic.

Good to know all went well! This game and league are nice distractions from real life.

Too bad the Rock Piles don't meet Weston Pointe during this season -- you'd probably get a nice bucket of Get-Well-PP's from playing them. So far K-Town has fulfilled expectations by getting pummeled by Kansas and Vegas...a 4-24 combined record against the two top dogs. (Plus another 3-13 against non-OL, but division-rival Minnesota Twinkies.)

Amazingly enough, K-Town is not on target to get relegated. Fortunately, Weston Pointe, Kansas, and Vegas should all move up.

Up to 7-7 today but only 6 OL games remaining all against the Rustlers.

To put it together.

I left some of this out earler. In the famous Venetian Quarter of Shinbone, a few Stars arrive in a more traditional manner traditional for the feast before heading to the Pychotic Reactor, which I also include here since it all should have been together earlier.

So many line items...

Getting ready to shut it down for the night, so I figured I'd pop the Mundys into a couple of tourneys and see if they had done some OL magic. No such luck. They went 3-3 and with only four OL games left, their crown-less streak will continue for a 33rd (I'm pretty sure) season. Their stable mates, the surprising (at least to me) Terra Incognita Rustlers are 5-1 with two games left to play. They will continue to be in the race.

Where the Mundys did surprise the #%$@ out of me was in a particular game. I've attached the relevant screen shots. I don't believe I've seen so many line items for one game before, like 13. They added up to a 12,000 haul. Nice.

Geez Mark, if I didn't know any better I'd say you were in Vegas!

Boy, what a jackpot! Can't say I've ever seen anything like that before!
