Retro Style Logos and Uniforms

Hey guys!

First, some background.

I'm currently doing a personal MLB Replay, much like what George_Bell is doing. Now that I've reached the 60s, I'm integrating each team's real minor league teams, two teams per year (except for 1964 when I did all of the 60s White Sox affiliates). Right now, I am up to 1965, and I have three levels of minor leagues.

These are the three teams I have chosen, and the minor league teams I have chosen to be their affiliates for the decade:

Detroit Tigers
AAA: Syracuse Chiefs
AA: Montgomery Rebels
A: Jamestown Tigers

Cincinnati Reds
AAA: Buffalo Bisons
AA: Knoxville Smokies
A: Rocky Mount Leafs

Cleveland Indians
AAA: Portland Beavers
AA: Pawtucket Indians
A: Reno Silver Sox

I will need uniform sets for all of these, as well as a logo. I would like them to be as historically accurate as possible. If colors are not known, then I would like the uniforms to have parent team colors. As for the logo, I would like a clean logo instead of a circular logo.

Yeah only two that I know probably don't exist are the Rocky Mount Leafs, which in that case you'd just need a logo and maybe a cap since there are lots of Leafs jerseys floating around.

Also the Montgomery Rebels. Lots of Rebels, but no Montgomery Rebels specifically.

All of the others, lots of them exist or do with some modifications.

Just did a quick search to confirm too. I almost always do before I go asking. I think I've seen it all and then i realize on some of the other threads, there are some great things I missed each time around.

My preference is to request uni sets to be made when I need them. That way, I can find them easily and they are EXACTLY how I want them to look. I hardly know anything about jersey making, so this sort of thing is beneficial to me.

I think we'd love a Jersey on demand service, but you're dealing with human beings who have other stuff going on, so just trying to help you get your unis faster and to help others not have to repeat work.

Tex, the Smokies and the UCLA set came out great - thanks for doing them. I especially love the white and light blue jersey for the Smokies.

If Tex is up for it, I'm willing to try and do some of these uniforms/logos with him. I can do some of the scripts and icons/patches for sure. A couple of things to keep in mind though. They won't be completely accurate, but instead based on what we can find and create to give a reasonable resemblance to the original. The other thing is that there are a lot of requests out right now so it might take some time to finish off the request completely. As darkcloud noted (thanks man!), we do the best we can to meet the requests, but real life gets in the way sometimes.

FYI, I am not going to spend much time searching and looking for photos of these teams to try and make them historically accurate. Me thinks the person who requested these can do the leg work for that and post some photos and colors schemes. After all we are doing the logos and uniform work.

Thats what I expect in the first place. I totally understand that accuracy cannot be guaranteed in many cases.
