Mashing Series - Game 5: #1 WC Thimble Island Kraken (94-69, 1st post season) vs #4 WC Russian River Blind Pig (84-78, 9th post season, 1 championship) Thimble Island starter Michael Zamora kept Russian River off balance for his 6.1 innings of work, giving up just 2 hits and no runs before being pulled from the game. David Blackwelder finished off the 7th, giving up no hits and no runs to preserve the Kraken's slim 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the 8th, the bottom fell out for Thimble Island, as Russian River exploded for 8 runs (including a grand slam by Rich Gulley) to send the home crowd into a frenzy. That score would hold up as Russian River claimed an 8-1 win and a 3 games to 2 lead in the series |

Mashing Series - Game 6: #1 WC Thimble Island Kraken (94-69, 1st post season) vs #4 WC Russian River Blind Pig (84-78, 9th post season, 1 championship) Despite being the lowest seed in the post season and the team with the fewest regular season wins, Russian River continue to show why they are a dangerous team that shouldn't be overlooked. In game 6, Blind Pig starter Justin McNally spread out 4 hits over 7 innings, giving up just 1 run, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts before turning the game over to the best closer in the Beer League, Victor Banuelos. He would pick up the 2 inning save, giving up no hits, no runs, no walks and 3 strikeouts to seal the 3-1 win and clinch the series 4 games to 2 |

Mashing Series - Game 6: #2 WC Odious Cellars Rubied Perspective (87-75, 3rd post season) vs #3 WC Funky Buddha Huki Idol (86-76, 5th post season)
Trailing 4-3 in the 6th inning, Funky Buddha third baseman Ray Collier walked up to the plate, with Alejandro Rivera on first base. The noise from the Odious Cellars home crowd was slowly growing in intensity inning by inning as they hoped to cheer their boys to victory to extend their season. The ballpark quickly went silent as Collier swung at the next pitch and sent it sailing well over the right field wall to give the Huki Idol a 5-4 lead. Funky Buddha would make that score stand as they clinched the series 4 games to 2, to move on to the Fermentation Series. |

While the season isn't yet over for a handful of teams, other clubs are already looking to the future. Toboggan Lunatic Fridge have announced they have come to an agreement with veteran center fielder Dale Beauvais to extend his time with the club for another 5 years at $128 per year. Beauvais has been with the club since the inaugural 2020 season

Lager League: #1 Horsefly Jazzy Razzy (105-57, 7th post season) vs #2 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot (93-69, 9th post season, 2 championships) Stout League: #3 WC Funky Buddha Huki Idol (86-76, 5th post season) vs #4 WC Russian River Blind Pig (84-78, 9th post season, 1 championship) |

Fermentation Series - Game 1: #1 Horsefly Jazzy Razzy (105-57, 7th post season) vs #2 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot (93-69, 9th post season, 2 championships) With the bases loaded and 2 out in the bottom of the 7th, Horsefly left fielder Zach Casale was called back from the on deck circle and pinch hitter Hector Davila emerged from the dugout. Weyerbacher led the game 4-2, and hoped to get that final out of the inning to preserve their lead. Instead, Davila ignited the home crowd with a blast over the center field wall for a grand slam and a 6-4 lead. Reliever Amine Brisset would come in to pitch the final two innings to pick up the save and clinch the 6-4 win, to give Horsefly a 1-0 series lead |

Horsefly jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after 2 innings, but the Blithering Idiot wouldn't lie down and give up. Weyerbacher would tie the game up with 3 runs in the 4th, but the Jazzy Razzy reclaimed the lead in the bottom half of the frame with 2 more runs to make the score 5-3. Weyerbacher continued to chip away with a run in the 5th, the tying run in the 6th, and the go-ahead run in the 8th. Fermentation Series - Game 2: #3 WC Funky Buddha Huki Idol (86-76, 5th post season) vs #4 WC Russian River Blind Pig (84-78, 9th post season, 1 championship)
It was a pitcher's duel for 9 innings, as neither team could push more than 1 run across the plate after the standard set of frames. The game extended to extra innings, and in the 11th, the offensive gates burst open. Russian River threw down the gauntlet with 5 runs in the top of the frame to take a 6-1 lead. Funky Buddha loaded the bases with 2 outs in the bottom of the 11th and managed to push 2 runs across. Unfortunately for the Huki Idol, that would be all they would get as the Blind Pig claimed a 6-3 win and a 2 games to none lead after two road games |

Fermentation Series - Game 3: #1 Horsefly Jazzy Razzy (105-57, 7th post season) vs #2 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot (93-69, 9th post season, 2 championships)
Horsefly jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first. That would be the only run of the game for the Jazzy Razzy, as Blithering Idiot starter Bobby Antonio held them to just 4 hits and the single run over his 5.2 innings of work before turning things over to the bullpen, who would keep Horsefly scoreless the rest of the way. On the offensive side, Jorge Reynoso went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored to help Weyerbacher claim a 4-1 win and a 2 games to 1 lead in the series |
