Nice to be back in competition with OL teams after a 1+ year hiatus from the game. Arkham is my team on GO now and Grovers Mill will be my team in 23.

There were no OL games in Stone in April. There WILL be a Stone OL champ with enough teams with enough OL games in the end.

Woah! I haven't bought any packs at all. Just been saving my pp to buy players I want when I can. Then I got a silver pack as a log in bonus, and I was absolutely stunned to see this:

Lol, so Sheffield just played in his first game for me, which was on a Sunday, and somehow he was named player of the week the next day in our Iron league.

He went 4 for 4 with 2 homers and a triple in that game.

If you lock cards for one mission, does it stop you from using them for another mission?

no, they can fulfill multiple missions if they are on them.... in your PT settings, you can set the order in which it will look for/lock cards for missions if you have duplicates... think it defaults to 'locked > inactive > reserve > active'

Damn, OL games are tough for my Mountain Lions!

We didn't have a great first season in an OL league last year, but we weren't that bad. 7 games below 500. But that included an absolutely abysmal 2-12 record vs OL teams.

Now this year, through 54 games, we're 32-22 with a 5 game lead on our division, the second best record in our conference, and 5th best in the league. And the best record of any OL team overall in the league. And this has lead to .... a 3-5 record vs OL teams.

Through 8 games Sheffield has an OPS of almost 2.0, so hopefully and others can help get us over this mental hump we seem to have when we face off against other Our League teams.

Are people still adding a "+" to their team abbreviations?

I notice some people do but I think some people don't. I really like it because it makes it clear when looking at the schedules if a team is OL or not.

For instance, looking at my schedule I see LB+ and COL+ ahead, so I instantly know those are OL teams.

The way OL works really adds a lot more unpredictability. It's great when things fall for you, and not so much when they don't!

In one of my earliest seasons in OL last year, I started with 8 OL games, lost them all and was technically eliminated after 5% of the season

. On another occasion, the same team had a late run of 17-1(!!) to take the crown by 1 win.

Who knows, you might go on a 10-game winning streak...

The "- OL" is technically more essential for Friends List/spreadsheet tables, but the "+" isn't really optional given how useful it is. Would definitely be good if everyone added one.

Just had by far my best daily PD draft get knocked out before the prizes. The kind of draft you really hope for. Gutted. Thought they should have had a great chance at a win. I definitely prefer getting a surprise win when I think I have no chance!

Opened my punchlist Historical Pack today and got a 95 Peak Jay Bell, along with a 99 Mike Piazza All-Star from a drops pack from watching Gorgo earlier.

Both will be very welcome reinforcements to the Blizzard at the 'trade deadline'!

We have a tie for the lead at the halfway, with Daytona Beach closing the gap to zero. Claptown made a pretty big move up to 3rd.

Holy City take another turn at the top. Colorado Springs are still waiting for their PT form to translate to OL success, but all 7 teams remain firmly in the hunt.
