Spike Owen, Mariners shortstop from 1983-1986, traded in that last season to the Boston Red Sox for the immortal Rey Quinones. Never went to an All-Star Game but wound up playing 13 years in the majors, starting most of them.

Hahaha, *that* picture however is of Steve Yeager, the longtime Dodgers catcher who had a very brief term with the Mariners. I thought Spike was looking old in that photo... anyway, here's Spike himself:

Olmedo Saenz (the Tomato) was a fan favorite during a few of the McCourt years.

I think a 3rd Gary "The Kid" Carter is fine...Provided we outfit him in the proper uniform.

I agree completely.
Here he is, once again, in the "Proper World Series Championship Winning Uniform"

The MTL Expos?
Some defunct baseball team that never won anything.
Had to move to DC to become the WAS Nationals.
Unlike the NY Mets, where Gary Carter got a ring from.
See Cooperstown?
The Kid looks so much better in a Mets cap, than a team that does not exist anymore!

Okay, folks, Carter-mania was yesterday ...

Today we're down to one week with one of the dirtiest players in baseball history,
(of course only as far as his uniform was concerned), a true Hall of Famer
