Yes, I have been using OOTPOU for this league for 11 seasons and 3 versions of OOTP, Nothing has changed on my end, New GM's have always shown up. I just overwrote OOTPOU with the new version as always and then created a new GM the next day and It doesn't recognize him


all CSV files show the proper export date in the details, everything seems in order but the utilities don't acknowledge the new GM created

I'm deleting the csv files on the server and uploading new ones right now (again)

OK, I figured this out. For some reason OOTP defaulted back to 1871 for the date of birth, obviously OOTP wasn't capable of doing the math, it has the age of the GM in the CSV file listed as NULL. So I went in gave the GM a new Birthday re-exported the CSV's and it's all good now

Maybe you guys could help me out, I am trying to play around with the draft function on OU, but the list of draft eligible players is not showing up. I am able to generate the draft order from the CSV file, but no players appear as eligible to be drafted.

Fixed the issue of not seeing anyone in the draft class with an update. However, I am now seeing players not in the draft class. Is there any update to this issue?

Do you have feeder leagues? Make sure the date is properly set in the Draft Admin screen. Try upping it up a year to see if that fixes the issue.

Hey Getch,

Thanks for the response. I am not seeing an option to change the date in the draft admin page. The date in one of the underlying files on the server matches the in game date for the draft (6-6-2015).

No feeders, just fictional draft classes. I am seeing a players that are draft eligible in years down the road in addition to this season's draft class.

I'm trying to install OOTPOU for 16 and I don't understand anything.

I'm trying to follow the steps, but I don't know anything about all this:
A Linux/Unix based web server to run, configured to run Perl.
FTP Access
A web-based File Manager utility via the web server's console, or shell access

Everything looks to be configured correctly for our league, but we're not able to see statistics, sim results, or any data.

Draft seems to be ok...

Any ideas why?

Question in game my draft pool is 840 total

in OOTPOU version OOTP 16 Online Utilities - Version 8.0.1
it only has 102 batters & 82 pitchers listed and i check a few players that were missing and they and in their profile they are available for list and they they should show in OOTPOU draft list . I have the draft admin set to show all players .

So what do u think could be the issue? we are suppose to start the draft just after midnight on Sunday night so hoping to resolve this before then.

any help would be greatly appreciated thanks .

Has anyone had issues with the draft utility making auto picks for team before the timer runs out and with none of the list buttons checked?

Yes, I do not remember what was done. I think we turned the timer off and hoped none of our GMs got a quarter bag before the draft.

The time is set to the server timezone, unless you override it in your User Profile. Make sure you're looking at the right timezone.

Getch, or anybody else:

How would you set up and run OOTP:OU (just dev) for a league set up like this, with 3 different "Major" leagues, each having minor leagues, having a promotion/relegation format where teams move between each "major" league between seasons?

Would you have to run 3 different reports each sim, or is there a simple 1-button (or fewer-button) way of updating after each sim?

Getch 2 questions

1. How do you fix the selection screen to show correct Position? See HERE
2. My draft seems to mostly or only auto draft teams when I click on the selection link for those teams who has the timer run out on(I have set to Auto pick if time expires) how do i fix this as when the time is up for a pick ootpou should auto pick for them unless they have it set to use list if time expires ? seem like the draft will hang even when the timer expires unless I click on the selections link

Any assistance would be helpful, thanks
