Using OOTP16 the OU doesn't seem to be pulling from only the draft class I import, but seems to be bringing in anybody who is 17 from the feeders in as eligible.

One SP is 17 years and 40ish days old and he's on the website, but the rule is he had to be 17 as of Jan1 of that year so he isn't eligible in-game.

Is that just because I'm on 16 and I just deal with it until it gets updated or is there a step I'm missing?

The draft pool auto filled when I updated the csv files instead of waiting until I put the draft csv in the 20xx draft folder and didn't cut out the non eligible players when I did.

I'm wondering if there might be an issue in my draft configuration, but the draft AI for the OOTP 16 seems borderline brain damaged, with great players (like a reborn Babe Ruth) going totally undrafted but guys who excel only in bunting going in the first round. I've tried all 5 draft AI settings and they are all roughly as terrible as the other.

I've found another issue as well; there seems to be an invisible upper bound where the web app will only display so many names, no matter how many you tell it to display in the admin mode. My present league has 7000+ eligible, but is only showing a fraction of that. It's cutting off some of the very best players too. Does anybody know where the program actually pulls the list of eligible players from? Editing draft_eligible_players.csv and reuploading makes no difference, even if I start the draft over.

This is happening to our league as well. Our draft pool is at least correct. However, when a team is set to auto. It disregards the draft pool and OU selects a player from FA pool as long as the player is within the age bracket.

Any ideas why my 1998 draft class is not being displayed in the utility -- Rookie Draft Report

Draft pool is in the league file and csv export generated fine.

draft_eligible_players.csv is in the right place and has good looking data -- i opened the file and it looks the same as the one from last year.

Utility reveals the latest development reports and league date so csv files are updated (I had this same problem once before and then realized I had not updated the csv files which was causing the problem.

Have tried deleting all csv files and re-uploading them with no results.

Mind you I have done this about 50+ times before & I did it 2 weeks ago win this league with no problem. Utility has been running fine. Other parts of utility are running fine.

Just the stupid draft class won't show up. Not fun to have a draft party and the draft class doesn't show up

We're a standard MLB league using the standard MLB Draft Class, no feeders. I successfully imported the draft.csv and draft_eligible_players.csv into OU.

OU is listing 14 and 15 year old players that aren't draft eligible in-game. How do we get rid of these players? What setting needs to change?

Yea Getch u mentioned before there was a setting but their is none that i know of in game or in ootpou

Are there still draft issues? Can someone send me their CSV files for me to look at?

I'm in 2 leagues, one with feeder leagues and one without, and we had no issues with the draft on 16.

ok, after the latest OOTP Patch, ootpou tracker basically has everyones speed drop to zero and stealing takes a major hit (In game ratings are fine)

This phenomena happened in another league i'm in and don't run so it isn't an isolated incident

I have a couple of issues...

1) Our league (Commish and most GM's) have patched to 16.3.30 (latest). Last evening after processing first sim on patch, then uploading the OU material, as usual, AND after making a pick (mine, oddly enough) in our current draft, everything looked fine.

This morning I receive a note that no draft eligible players can been seen in OU. The selected players appear fine, but the "draft" screen is completely empty now?

Not sure if this is patch related or human (my) error in some way. I only made my pick and then left OU. Odd.
ADDED: I will also add that I did pick out a few players for my "Draft List" and did check "draft using list" as very last thing before leaving the draft in OU. Not sure if that would affect anything (I mention only because I am the Commish).

I have turned the draft timer OFF until I can sort this out.

Any ideas???

2) Unrelated to above, we seem to have hard time with all GM's seeing the "your next up" e-mails. Some receive all, some sporadic.

I know these is some basic instructions in the "readme", but is there any more information available on this somewhere?

It appears (might be coincidence) it's related more to "new GM's" than those established in the league already?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm looking into the patch 30 issue. Unfortunately I'm on vacation at the moment, but I have a laptop and should find some time to work on it. I'll see what I can do.

I released the fix for the new patch for OOTP 16. This does mean that the OOTP 15 and OOTP 16 have split. Original post is updated with the links to the new OOTP 16.

I also fixed pitcher WAR with this patch. Note that the game no longer supports VORP, so it has been replaced with WPA.

Have downloaded and installed 8.0.1 successfully. Says so bottom of OU!

Not sure if it is related to the newest patch or just my error, but I still am not seeing any draft eligible players for our current draft. As mentioned a couple of posts above, they simply disappeared the other night.
The already selected players are intact, but all the remaining draft players have disappeared.

• Has anyone seen this before?
• Anyone have a draft running right now that has passed the current 16 patch and is still working (I would like to compare notes)?
• Any ideas what might have happened and, more importantly, how I correct this issue for my league?

I have an odd issue with the new version. I have added a new GM in-game updated reports and csv files and the utilities does not recognize him, he doesn't show up anywhere (log in, Managers etc...) any Ideas?

Did you upload a new human_managers.csv file?
