Lager League - Pilsner Division: Firefly Hollow Dire Chinchilla / Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot - a 12-12 month for Firefly Hollow opened the door for Weyerbacher to chase them down and pull into a tie for the division lead heading into the dog days of summer. While the Blithering Idiot rank 6th or better in virtually all team categories, Firefly Hollow ranks in double digits in more categories than not, leaving the head scratching question of exactly how are they winning as much as they are?

Lager League - Kolsch Division: Laughing Sun Red Dwarf - a 14-9 month of July has Laughing Sun atop the division with a 4.5 game lead. July pitcher of the month Cameron Johnson is rolling along with an 8-3 record and 2.12 ERA and 105 strikeouts.

Lager League - Helles Division: Ballast Point Commodores - Ballast Point clings to a slim 1 game lead heading into August as the seek their 6th division crown. Youngster Aaron Zwickel (23 years old) has settled into the closer role nicely, appearing in 37 games, with a 5-1 record, 13 saves and 1.46 ERA

Lager League - Tripel Division: Horsefly Jazzy Razzy - Horsefly's free agent spending spree appears to be paying off at the moment as they hold the second largest division lead in the league at 8.5 games. Center fielder Mitch Chandler is having another solid season, batting .321 with 20 home runs and 73 RBIs from the leadoff position.

Stout League - Porter Division: Terrapin Hopsecutioner - a strong 17-9 month of July has propelled Terrapin to the top of the division with a 2.5 game lead. While they aren't batting very well over all (20th ranked), when they do connect, the ball is sailing a long way as they lead the league in home runs with 125.

Stout League - Dunkel Division: Four Hands Typhon - Four Hands has the good fortune this season of being a solid team in a weak division, as they carry a 10.5 game lead into August with a 57-45 record. Joel Ruest continues to cruise along on the mound, just 2 wins shy of his career high (13-5, 3.06 ERA)

Stout League - Eisbock Division: Red Rock Elephino - Red Rock could do no wrong in July as they went 21-5 for the month to take a 5 game lead in the division. Ryan Bernstein (9-4, 2.88 ERA) and Billy Feeley (9-3, 2.51 ERA) are creating a solid 1-2 punch in the rotation to keep the club on the winning track.

Stout League - Altbier Division: Toboggan Lunatic Fridge - Toboggan continues to roll along with the top rated offense (1st in runs scored batting average and OPS) to keep them atop the division with a 63-41 record. Closer Mark Marleau has already tied his career high in saves with 27 with 2 months left to play.
