There's some great ballpark images in this thread!

So, just so I understand: The jpg images that are posted throughout this thread can be used as simple ballpark images for non-3D mode. And if you want to do 3D, then you'd download the .rar files from the links. Correct?

That is correct. The jpg images are just to show what the park looks like in the game.

First off, I don't understand "I can't reach the "Models" folder". I don't know what that means. Try unzipping the file to your desktop and then just copy or move it to the Models folder in OOTP 18 (or 17) whichever you have.

The error is a "File Not found or no read permission" when I try to copy into the models folder

Thank you for recently fixing the grid with this ballpark. One question: when I installed the park, I noticed that the ads that were formerly on the green monster (etc) are no longer there, Did I miss a step?

After you download a park you should have a file with a name of the park in rar format, example bigpark.rar. When you click on it, it asks you where to open it to and give you a list of places with Desktop at the top. Select Desktop then OK. You should see it un-packing. and when you look on your desktop you will see the park folder. You can also unpack it directly to the Models folder by finding and selecting it from the list that comes up under Desktop. If you are downloading more that one file at a time, You just unpack the 'bundle' to the desktop and you will have all the individual .rar files on the desktop and you have to unpack each individually. If the file does not unpack a park folder (or a bundle if you selected more than one), then you have a corrupted download.

I have to go look at some of my previous versions

I did a search on 1970 Fenway and found pictures with no sign on green monster. Citgo or other is dependent on year, I think. Silvam made the decision for Citgo and I stick with that! Are we getting in to too much detail? Silvam cannot make a different park for each signage change. I believe his focus is on changes in field dimensions. I know that when I put signage on parks it is not meant to be accurate but I try to make them period correct.

I'm ok with it either way as long as it's playable, which it is. Remember when I finally got the grid to line up? I had to fix the fence markers, though. It seems to me the Uniroyal sign was there when I was doing this. My mind is getting older and now I really am not positively sure. I think it was. haha But no matter. I know you have plenty to do. Check page 18, post 19 of this thread. You will see a pic posted there. Thanks. Boy. That's good, though. I'm not losing my mind completely, yet. hahaha

By the way, if you do get some free time, could you check out Veterans Stadium? The 3D crowd in both left and right corners look swirly. Don't know why. Looks psychedelic. Thanks.

Which version of Veterans? I have 2 and I looked at both of them and don't see what you are talking about. Please send or post a picture.

I wondered if that is what you were talking about! It is like that because of the way the seating textures were installed when the park was built. If you look closely at them in the simplified mode (non 3D) you will see how the seating is arranged in a bunch of different directions. I think this park originated in 3D Warehouse and is not a Silvam creation. I can try to fix the seating but it could be a problem. Silvam may have better luck.
