I just checked in Sketchup. The axes is where it should be

I found the problem (I hope). The infield base path dirt is floating above the grass. It is kind of difficult to see in the picture but it is. I went back to your original Fenway 1970 and it is not like that. Something must have happened when I was putting the background on it. I am going to re-do it and see what happens.

WOUld you be kind enough to let us know when historical fenway if fixed?

Adion...first I wish to thank you and silvam for all your terrific work on the historical ballparks. I tried myself to get the Historical Fenway re-adjusted to make the outfielders play in the outfield and not behind the fences (which is I guess a result of the fence grid being too far back?).
While I was able to re-align the somewhat off-to-the-right grid (where the pitchers mound was to the right of the actual mound, etc), by reading the somewhat obtuse online manual OOTP provides...I was completely unable to figure out how to re-adjust the fence grid (even when following the instructions). Thus, my OFers at historical Fenway 1975 are still playing "over the walls",in the stands, etc.
If and when you get the chance to revise Historical Fenway, I also am not sure how to get it to work. With OOTP17, I simply dragged your BP folder to the ballpark/models folder in the game.
It doesn't work that way with OOTP18; I'm not at all sure why (I tried doing that with another ballpark).
So...would you be a good friend and let this 3D model-idiot know how to GET your revised Historical ballpark working with OOTP18?
As always, your hard work is appreciated. You've made this great game even MORE fun to play.
So...

No it did not. After you mentioned it, I went back and checked. The grid was ok, but the the walls all needed to be adjusted. By the time I finished it you had the new park ready. I never did bother to check if it worked or not since I saw you had the new one ready. It was a bit of a pain trying to find all the fence markers. And I don't know if I even got them all. Rightfield was the hardest to find them. Thanks for fixing the park.

Your updated park works well now. Just played a few games on it. Thanks again.

thansk you for fixing historical fenway, adion

It works like a charm and I'm grateful. I DO have one more question, though:
The previous incantation of historical fenway (the one you revised and fixed the grid, wall position, etc) had advertising on the wall for Fenway 1970-87. This one does NOT, even though everything else is fixed.
Am I supposed to load the "ads" in from somewhere else? I simply d-loaded your revised 1970-87 fenway, unzipped it and put it in the models folder for OOTP18. Opened up boston edit settings, loaded new 3D model, and directed to your revised folder and replaced the .obj.
So,like I said: stadium works. But no ads. Not sure if I did something wrong or am missing a step.
Thank you kindly.

Civic Stadium was a nice little park. Too bad what's happened to it.

On June 29, 2015, Civic Stadium was destroyed by fire. Two days later, officials charged four pre-teen boys in connection with the fire, although the cause had not yet been determined conclusively. The stadium was delisted from the National Register of Historic Places on March 8, 2016.

The Portland Mavericks did play there from 1973-1977. Won 4 division titles. Missed in 1974.

Help!

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I've downloaded some of the ball parks, but when I try extracting them, first of all I can't reach the "Models" folder and second, I'm told that the output file doesn't exist--any advice help etc would be most appreciated

First off, I don't understand "I can't reach the "Models" folder". I don't know what that means. Try unzipping the file to your desktop and then just copy or move it to the Models folder in OOTP 18 (or 17) whichever you have.

Have you seen the film about the team? It is called the Battered Bastards of Baseball. It is good.
