Silver league:
Crazy close finish in OL and overall at the Silver tier. In OL play, North Bay pulls it out in the end with a 25-20 (.556) record (if just one of those wins went the other way, Waffletown would have snuck into first place). Overall, Aomori finished with an impressive 100-62 record to sit atop the AC West (but second best in the conference as the Central division champs had 101 wins). North Bay claimed the top wild card spot (but as usual with WC teams, can't be dismissed in the post season as they would have won the AC East by 10 games had they been there). Auckland finished well back but not at the bottom; same with Los Angeles in the NC East. Both teams will remain at Silver level. And for the crazy finish, Waffletown faced off against division rival Lebowski Urban Achievers for the final 3 games of the season (Syrups only led by 1 game at that point). Lebowski won the first game to move into a tie for the division lead. Waffletown won the second game to take the 1 game lead back with 1 to play. In game 162, Lebowski claimed victory and both teams ended the regular season with identical 85-77 records (not only that, but in the AC Central, the Seattle F2P Heroic Bugs also finished 85-77 which was good enough for a second WC spot tie). Game 163 was the battle for the AC East crown. Waffletown took care of business and defeated Lebowski 4-2 to claim the AC East crown and send Lebowski to another extra game where they faced Seattle for the last WC spot (Lebowski emerged victorious there and avoided finishing the regular season in a division lead yet missing the post season), For the OL post season, North Bay will face off against Lebowski in the wild card match. Waffletown will head to Aomori for the LDS. |

As Stanley says, that's it for now, hopefully see you later for some more hardware.
I did the crown graphics in a bit of a hurry. I'll spend some time this week making them look a bit snazzier for next weekend. |

adding in the 2-0 and 0-2 marks to the online sheet for overall OL record compiling (didn't see any other updates, so if anyone has the final OL play records at Gold, feel free to post and I'll update the sheet) |

Good luck to all playoff teams in the post-season, and good luck to all Day-1 players in their Historical Pack tonight.

That way I can't be angry when we are still championship-less. |

I'm really dating myself with this reference, but I think some of us older folks will get it. Good luck to all the playoff teams.

I did not follow my own new superstition. Lost in wildcard. Entire team's useless and I don't want any of them anymore. Pretty burned out already after pushing myself hard to try and have the perfect tournament teams. (this didn't go well)
Probably selling all my HP's and punting for a few weeks. Last edited by Magus978; 05-29-2022 at 02:42 PM. |

likewise... I can muddle my way through stuff like that (and if I haven't done it in awhile, I need a refresher on how to do some of the basics ![]() |

Masura approves! And congratulations to Waffletown and North Bay for their wins in the Silver AC DS! Somebody from OL is going to the Series! And a tip of the cap to Auckland for winning the season series against Aomori by a wide margin. Well played!

![]() Silver playoffs: as I warned, don't overlook the wild card team.... North Bay takes care of business in the wild card match AND the LDS, as they take down the top seed 3 games to 1... Waffletown went into the series with Aomori not expecting much and playing loose since they had nothing to lose... 4 games later the Syrups advance to the LCS to face off against North Bay |

Aceldama Butchers may have beaten me in Bronze 209, but I got revenge in the Iron 279 tournament.

Silver playoffs: good series between North Bay and Waffletown with game 5 going 16 innings and game 6 going 13 innings.... in the end North Bay proved too tough for the Syrups as they took the series 4 games to 2 and head to the World Series.... good luck and bring home a championship for the OL side! |

Congrats North Bay on winning the Silver AC! Represent us well in the Series against the Philadephia Generic "P" Logos!

Set Up for Next Week, 2025
With the team movement set for next season, you can refer to the list below to set up your friends list. The usual caveat applies that it is subject to my senior moments. By the way, Jason, I put Aceldama's record from PT 19 onto the spreadsheet. I believe I mentioned that they moved to Asylum and became the Keepers in PT 20, but they are now back to the newly renovated Slaughterhouse for this iteration. I have to admit, now that I have less time to devote to PT, it's quirkiness is less bothersome. Sorry I can't help out more, but as I said, I will do standings on Sunday mornings as an emergency back up, if a league I am in gets forgotten. Given the amazing artistry of Tinkerman, I should have gotten out of the graphics business sooner. Just a splendid improvement.! Good luck to those still playing.
Here's the picture: Diamond - New York (It's lonely at the top, Magus) Gold - Greenland, Baltimore, Waxhaw, North Bay, Waffletown, Aomori Silver - Auckland, Los Angeles, Doug, SaukCentre Bronze - Daytona Beach, Mount Hawke, Bushwood, Claptown, Aceldama, Austin, Fort Davis, Savannah, Detroit Iron - Bruno, Madder, Port Ruppert, Shinbone, Colorado Springs, Brooklyn Stone - Long Beach, Bordeaux, Columbia, Card Era, Terra Incognita, Grovers Mill, Belo Horizonte, Holy City Rookie - Nowhere (I'm assuming they aren't doing multiple level jumps anymore) |

Won't be lonely for long. I'm selling off my HP's and keeping a stockpile of points to complete missions. I'll be back in with the peasants in a few weeks. If I can't win the league, I don't care about the league.

Thanks for the positive feedback folks, I have a new mistress and she's called Inkscape! I've been staring at stuff so much in the last couple of weeks that I've gone half blind, but a few late nights have helped with the tourney income! By the way, Stanley, I love your artwork.
So, as it goes, I get to give my Mount Hawke Tinners an Iron league award tonight. Woot! Bushwood fell just short of making it an all OL series. Has Silver finished yet? |
