It's got to be a huge lift to Brazo that with Gagne hurt he can come in and strike out both Glaus and Green with the game on the line. Fantastic game. I think the D-backs have shown they can be dangerous, but their pitching has been revealed for what it is, too.

I was planning on being there for the home opener, scheduled around a family wedding, but then the wedding got postponed. (Grrr....) I'm going to take a three-day weekend at some point this summer and come down for a series.

I missed last night's game, which sucks, but I'll be here for today's. I was working Opening Day so this will be my first time seeing Lowe as a Dodger.

I never thought I'd be saying this as a Dodger fan but that Jeff Kent is amazing! No one can get him out, he's been unstoppable. Now if only Drew or Choi could get a hit between them...

dola,

Valentine so far is making me forget all about Beltre. He's exceeded my best expectations, now if only he'll keep that up.

bulldog, you see that shot of Lowe's elbow where you could see the imprint of the stitches from the ball on it? Ouch! That's sick.

Derek Lowe got hit by a line drive on the elbow that knocked him out of the game. He got hit so hard that you could actually see the imprint of the stitches on his elbow. He looked like he was in a lot of pain, he was down and rolling around on the ground. Poor guy.

Yea, it looks like Dessens might have just been bumped up to #3 in the rotation. That's never good news.

Woot! Go Repko! Tough season for him so far, gets robbed of his first RBI when Itzuris forgets to touch third, gets robbed of his first homerun yesterday and now he goes yard for a two run HR. There's no taking that one back! The Dodgers do it again and come from behind to tie it 4-4. I heart this team.
