As I thought.. It is simple math.

6.12 Patch=no new income
7.00 =new income

Exactly right. It's easy to get impatient after something good is mentioned to be forthcoming. But let's try to remember it's free, it's not obligatory (even if he did say it would be late - it doesn't have to EVER be delivered), and the last thing any of us probably really want to do is create pressure and have him rush to complete it just so it gets done. That could mean it doesn't have as much to offer as it could have, isn't free from creating or containing new problems, in short -- shove it out there and it's one more thing for you/us to complain out more quickly. It's a long way to v7.

Even though I've expressed my own anticipation waiting for the patch, I'd rather see it do everything it can do in the time he has available to work on it than it be delivered just to shut us up. A forum full of short-lived, one-liner "You're the best Markus" seldom makes up for the barrages of thanklessness that is sometimes our habit.

Why don't people ever bitch about how, for example, the Madden series has been more or less the same every year for the past 3 or 4 years, the only exceptions being slightly improved graphics, new roster sets, and one big "feature" a year that doesn't even work half the time? And meanwhile, they charge twice as much for their product as a game that's far more realistic?

Seriously, give the man a break. 6.11 works just fine for me. It doesn't use relievers right, but a. it is really, really tough to do that, and b. has OOTP ever used relievers properly? It always pains me that people expect more out of a tiny company than a big one just because the tiny company responds to its clients.

Just curious. Where exactly was it "officially" stated that H2H would definitely not be included. The last I heard, it was supposed to be included in a "final" update. Did I miss a memo?

Thats a little unfair to suggest thats the reasoning, I think Markus explained the situation well - he's on an OOTP7 roll and whilst he's in that mood it would be prudent not to interupt it.

I think we need to give Markus more space. I am loving 6.11 and am continuing to be amazed at all of the features it does have. I think the guy's a genius and treats his user community very well.

Markus, one little thing a bunch of us have asked for in 6.12 is the ability to toggle it so that on the player main screen the Scouting Report can be the default display instead of Career History.

I am looking forward 6.12, but I am looking forward to 7 even more. At least he is answering the questions in a timely fashion.

Why would someone complain about the Madden game on this forum?

I never expressed that sentiment in any way and I think that a lot of other folks here didn't express that sentiment either.

Not only that, EA just paid $$$ to buy a five-year exclusive NFL gaming license. I guess NFL 2K's "twice the game at only 40% of the price" hurt Madden's sales more than anyone thought.

I would like to be able to see the player's full batting stats on lineup screen instead of they're stats against just L or R. A toggle would be nice. Used to be a fast way to see how your team was doing.

Actually I think that was a great idea. If you want to see the full stats just use the menus on the left.
