Thanks, EC..
I was trying to make that Indy circle logo look like a tire... I think I might rework it again to see if I can put more of a texture on the "tire" to accomplish that. Thanks for the props, tho...

The 3-D effect of your design is quite polished, FL. The "tire" theme for Indy is a natural....maybe great minds just think alike

These aren't turning out quite as nce as I'd hoped. I'll keep trying to improve them. Here's Portland:

That Portland is excellent...great colors...and the way you put "Pennies" inside the "P"...to my knowledge, you and nmleague are the only ones that have done it that way...very nice.
Like the Memphis Blues, too...but it looks like it might get a little spotty or splotchy in the game...around the edges of the baseball. (edited after he revised it) You fixed it...looks good now. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-11-2004 at 08:41 AM. |

Guys,
Thanks again for these, they're all great. My favourites are definately Jacksonville and Indy which are both amazing. Please keep it up, my league will look great! I'm sorry I'm not able to reply as quickly as I should to new designs. As I said I live in the UK so the time difference doesn't help but I've also only recently moved house and only have a pedestrian dial-up connection at home. I should have broadband in by christmas which will make things much easier. Please bear with me. Keep up the good work, I REALLY do appreciate your efforts. Thanks Tim |

That Austin Apaches is super fine in every respect.
I may have to create a Texas League so I can use it for a team in it...only problem is I don't have time to play the leagues I have now. I'm saving all of these logos you and FastLane have been doing lately. |

I've got one here...
...that doesn't work within the framework of the "circular logo" theme we seem to be doing. I tried doing it that way, but it really loses something in the translation. I'll put this one up, as is, and if you would rather go in a different direction...or have a suggestion I might not have thought of...we can go that way.
Anyways....

The first ones is T-Birds spelled all the way out as Thunderbirds, mostly in deference to the cultural icon I was trying to capture. The 2nd is spelled as per the logo request. I guess when I think of "Las Vegas and Thunderbirds", I conjur up painted deserts and turquoise...
But, if you would prefer a different format or logo altogether, I'm fine with that.

FastLane, are you in graphic arts or advertising?...you really have a creative mind and then you can put it in a picture.
That Thunderbird image over the baseball combined with the desert background, plus the turquoise...is truly fine. |

Ec...
I cant take credit for being in either field. LOL...But I'm really flattered that you think I would be capable of it. I've always been somewhat "artistic" and really have enjoyed it as a hobby, but I never thought of making a career out of it. Thanks for the many kind words.
