Something weird has to be going on here. I just tried the editor on my league with a quick change to two players and it assigned the correct league to the correct players. I also tried the same thing on the league file in question, the FIBB, and tried switching two players (giving one the All-Star position and removing it from another) and it also seemed to work right. Has anyone else tried this for their leagues, working with more than just a handful of players? Also, mad0die's feature request to have the players alphabetized in the right-hand list is a very good one & would be very useful. As always, thanks Pierre! |

Update - Definitely a problem here of some sort. I took the current FIBB file, post-All-Star game, and opened the league file directory up in the AS Editor. It showed all of the All-Stars assigned to their *correct* teams, meaning that there wasn't any user error when entering them in (which I didn't suspect anyways, mad0die is very thorough and knows his stuff).
So, since the utility could theoretically be used to fix up the team assignments even after the all-star game has been played out, I tried taking a player out of the New World (NW) team, saving the file, then adding him back to the NW team. It updated his player history, and again assigned him to the OW team. Something seems to be confusing the utility as to which league is the first and which league is the second? I'm not sure. Pierre, if you need to take a look at the league file please let me know, I can get it to you. I'd like to maybe get the file fixed eventually since it will help me in updating the league's CatoBase pages. |

Think I found it. I'm not able to retreive the email you sent to me. You probably used the one at the office.
Is it possible when you have no problem is when the All star team are listed this way: 1- American League and 2 - National League in the drop down list box of the all star team? And with the one that you are having a problem, the AL team is second ? |

Definitely possible - in the NABA, league #1 is NL and league #2 is SL, so they follow alphabetical order. In the FIBB, the league file that had the problem, the OW is league #1 and the NW is league #2 so it's the reverse of alphabetical order.
